This is magnificent.  It really captures the essence of the action and feels like it's full sensory - I feel like I can hear the noise of the crowd!  It reminds me of some paintings I've seen of the coronation of Tsar Nicholas II which are similarly inspiring, though no better, and of course done by the best painters in Imperial Russia.  Say what you will about the Romanovs, most of it bad, but they knew how to put on a party!  Use your Google Fu if you have no idea what I'm talking about.  It will come up.

Very cool style, and I love love love the colours you used... it really gives a festive and rich atmosphere to the piece.
