Nice one man however reminds me alot of Branddon's Wagner style in terms of the shapes used and how they were used.

i know what you mean in terms of how you use them, but if you seriously take time and look at his work, and see how lighting is set up to ambient instead of focused, and how the render isnt ever surrounded, and the postwork textures... nothing really matches up. the only thing that i found similar between this and his stuff were how the light reflects off of the metaballs, and how i incorporated depth with the sides.

I've always wanted to do a collab. For a piece I want to do, I was thinking about collabing with Straye, that way I could learn more about that style.

when your drawing, its basically just the drawing that matters most, im not sure in photoshop would help too much
try doodling cartoons, and then add detail to them- make wavy patterns or generally follow the line strokes he does... its not hard mate
If you do attempt it, let me know, and ill try to help with the watercolor bit.

this is called a metaball(the focal) but i used multiple cinema 4d tricks in this. (its made in cinema 4d)
