Description
This was done in 1991 at one of the last comic book shows attended by John Byrne. No, Byrne is NOT the artist on this. I couldn't find an email address for the artist, so I've removed his name from the art.The reason I mentioned Byrne on this at all is that this was the period when Byrne was writing and drawing Sensational She-Hulk. This artist was sitting not too far from Byrne, and I got the idea to have this artist draw an age-regressed She-Hulk. Some time after this, Byrne did Sensational She-Hulk No. 50, his last issue on the series, and he imagined what the next team taking over might do with her, including his own idea for a "new direction" for Ms. Walters. His idea was "Li'l She-Hulk," with She-Hulk and some others done as kids. Including, in the last panel, Li'l Dr. Doom, which showed Dr. Doom as a kid on a tricycle. Yes, it's as funny as it sounds.
I did show this to Mr. Byrne. I don't know if it inspired his version of Li'l She-Hulk. But I like to think it did.
I'm also aware that there are people who liked the Mike Vosburg She-Hulk I posted before I posed this drawing. I'm hoping they have a good sense of humor regarding this drawing. After all, there are some She-Hulk fans who can be -- savage.
