What about Freddi? He looks up to Nightmare. He thinks it’s cool how someone who looks so menacing is actually a very kind and gentle being who protects the crew from nightmares and bad dreams. Yes he is Freddles’ father figure, but there’s nothing wrong with looking up to your father/father figure.
