In Smokeys Cupcakes Universe the world is over populated and there's a bunch of homeless and poor people. They kidnap them off the streets usually when they are very young and turn them into robot slaves. They have all their memories and personality left but also do what they are told because they are now forced to do their "job". They can be sold to the military for war, used as servants or maids, to entertain children or just be some rich persons slave. There is a lot of feedback cause of how unethical it all is but you cant stop rich corporations.

SmokeyP2 was captured off the streets when she was 2 yearsold. Her memories and personality are being uploaded.
I dont know how that would even work so I just drew her hooked up to a blue-tooth EEG cap thats being monitored by the scientists and is plugged into the back of her neck that is uploading her mind into her robot self.

Also they don't stay the same age, they grow up and mature. Thats how advanced their technology is.
