A direct continuation of this: www.deviantart.com/foolishmake… , which is also for the prompt "Prismatic Nights", (I should have mentioned that in the description of the drawing itself) and how I got the upgrades.
When Lestriding returned to the den, they sauntered off to some hidden nook somewhere so Mama Nana wouldn't bother them about staying up so late. They were too tired to even bother with laying down. And even though Mama Nana didn't find her, Kablooie did. He's much younger than them and is much less used to life. He went to inspect their wings, out of non-malicious curiosity.
Oh and if anyone asks him, those aren't whiskers, they're fuses, thank you very much.
