Francis is the no good adult son of the rich family who owns the Inn and most of the surrounding towne. he was sent there because of his frequent physical altercations now he hangs around being nasty and malignant

the “Mad Slasher”. if you find that your home has been burglarized, your property damaged, your livestock or family members have been drained of blood in the night, could have been this guy.
