Welcome to the Apocalypse...

Earth has fallen, all specimens including our own have either become extinct or critically endangered...

We should have never forgotten about it...

But there was no other way to destroy it...

So our institution decided to leave it be, which was the worst mistake that humanity ever made...

We should have had an eye on it, someone watching it, making sure nothing went wrong...

Our company went bankrupt when the government stopped funding us and wondered what was going on, they discovered many secrets in the process and decided to shut the place down, but we did not reveal it, we didn't even think about it, our entire staff turned out to be, instead of an ingenious bunch of agents, doctors, and scientists, a group of pathetic amnesiacs...

About two weeks later, word came out that someone had spotted a very weird creature, and ended up having his life taken away from him...

It was then we realized what we forgot...

Our lives changed dramatically that day...

I decided to go back, check on what it had become...

I was astounded...

There was not just one portal, but multiple, cut through space and time, leading to other dimensions...

There were creatures of all kind, nothing that we had ever seen...

Cities were starting to be attacked by every single one of these unknown entities...

Millions, even billions of casualties occurred in just one month...

And to think that we could have done something to stop that from happening...

The pain was too big for others, scientists and agents started to take their own lives, they could not handle the grief that they encountered...

I myself, was not like them, I knew I could survive this, but the chances were slim...

I now live in the underground, where at least I think I would be the most safe...

I wear dirty, ragged clothes, and besides that, I am all alone...

To this day there are probably only 3,300 people out there, at least that is what I have heard from the last report...

I do not know what to do anymore...

I do not think there is hope to change the planet, but maybe we can live with what has happened...
