Description
This started as sort of a sketch with a calligraphy ink block on watercolor paper, the resulting face wanted more so I painted over and around and, I suppose, through it with gouache. I think the central character is imperiled by their dabbling in the borderlands between self and un-self; or the world outside of our immediate experience.
