It’s been half a year and these are the only doodles I’ve done. For shame. Oh well, enough of that.
I drew some Yosubato characters way back during the summer when I was still unemployed. To the far left is Fuuka, drawn from memory. Not exactly finished or accurate, but you might be able to recognize her. The hair’s a bit too wild, should be straighter, but the thick eyebrows should be a dead giveaway that it’s that cute girl next door.
In the middle are headshots of the three friends of the Ayase sisters (drawn with references this time). I noticed that they kinda look like the same character, just at the three ages levels of the sisters. Dunno if that was intentional (or even remotely true) on Azuma’s part, but I think it’s clever. Kinda like how in Azumanga Daioh, Chiyo’s old grade school friends are essentially mini versions of Yukari and Nyamo. I appreciate little touches like that.
And last is an actually notebook drawing. Forsooth! I actually slacked off at work to draw this. I decided to draw Captain Falcon’s infamous attack. Also phonetically. Show me you moves!
That does it for this year. How should I break these up, now that I don’t have handy dandy semesters to go by? Annually seems too long. Seasonally seems to short. Maybe bi-annually? Ha ha! Bi…
