Drew this a few months ago, but couldn't think of what to write, so I put off uploading it until now...

The idea dates back to 2008, when 5D's had just started airing, before Aki made her first appearance. Yusei was thrown in prison in episode 6, and this is how I imagined how he would meet Aki for the first time.

Shortly after Yusei arrives in prison, he hears of a rumour whispered among fellow inmates. Rumours of a secret mental ward hidden somewhere in the facility. Rumours of a woman's screams that can be heard on some nights, distant and shrill. And one day, Yusei discovers the hidden ward. Maybe it was by chance, during an attempt to escape, maybe he deliberately searched for the source of the screams, or maybe he was led there by the mark on his arm. And there he finds...
