Description
It started off as a fine, peaceful evening in the Tower, dinner was almost ready as well, and it's homemade Chinese food tonight: white rice, steam broccoli with a light touch of soy sauce, fish, and char siu.Starfire was setting up the table.
Beast Boy was pouring the drinks.
Cyborg was making the final touches to his meal, his food must explode in everyone's taste buds; it has to be good.
However, there's something to be missing here…
"Friends, where are friend Raven and Robin?" Starfire asked, flying around the Tower, checking everywhere: the cabinets, the halls, the closets, even under the couch. "I cannot find them anywhere in our home."
Right on cue, Raven and Robin walked into the living area, the other Titans were happy to see them, but the two birds' expression said otherwise.
"How is it my fault?" Robin asked her.
"And how is it mine?" Raven said, glaring at him.
"I didn't say it was yours," Robin replied.
"Okay then, it's your entire fault!" Raven yelled, trying to tower over him, failing because she was a few inches shorter than him.
Before Robin could say anything else irrational, Cyborg stepped in between the two before they could kill each other.
"Aren't we all friends here?" Cyborg said, trying to soothe things down. "Why are you two fighting?"
Raven and Robin were slowly looking at each other, though, their arms were still cross but their expression softened up a bit.
"Now, let's talk about this like grown—God, help me!" Cyborg cried out, his sentence was cut off when Raven and Robin pounced each other at the same time.
The two dark teens were rolling on the floor, trying to claw each other's faces off, and it looks like they both are going to succeed soon.
"Beast Boy, Starfire, don't just stand there!" Cyborg said, piled under the two young adults. "Help me!" He waved both of his hands, a sign of SOS.
The green shape shifter and the alien princess jumped in to save Cyborg, managing to pull him out from the birds, and setting him somewhere safe from harm's way.
Beast Boy transformed into a gorilla and held Robin up, putting his claws fairly close to the Boy Wonder's face if he impulsively jumps into action.
Starfire was holding Raven in her place—it was not much of a hold. It's considered as a hug since Starfire had a smile on her face, gently swaying side-to-side and humming a happy tune. She was also oblivious to Raven's aggravation, who does not want to be hug right now.
"Are you guys calm enough to tell me what's going on?" Cyborg said, cautiously stepping out from his safe spot.
After a few seconds, the Boy Wonder and half-demon nodded in silence.
Cyborg sighed in relief and said, "Okay now, why were you two fighting?"
"I'll go first!" Robin said quickly before Raven can before sticking his tongue out.
Cyborg pinched the bridge of his nose at the childish act.
"It all started when we were outside of the Tower, in the city walking around, the reason why we weren't here for the pass few hours," Robin said.
"Go on," Cyborg commented.
"We were talking and stopped by a café to get something to drink," Robin explained. "There was a little bookshop as well and I paid the drinks and the books she wanted. I was being a perfect gentleman but then she went crazy."
"Raven, let's hear your story," Cyborg said after thinking for a minute.
"What all he said was true," Raven answered.
"Then why are you mad at him?" Cyborg gave her a perplexed look.
"Because I didn't say he had to be a gentleman," Raven said cynically.
"Come on, Raven, be glad he paid all those things," Cyborg reasoned.
"I wasn't finish," Raven snapped at him. "Did you know he forgot one, tiny, important information left?"
"Which is…?" Cyborg trailed off, leaning in.
"He kissed me," Raven hissed.
"Well that's how a date usually ends!" Robin shouted.
"You two went on a date?" Beast Boy said, blinking a couple of times.
"Glorious! I am happy for you two!" Starfire squealed, her grip around Raven tightened.
"How come I wasn't informed about this date?" Cyborg asked.
"You weren't informed because it wasn't a date," Raven said. "Because I did not get the memo from a certain idiot." Her eyes sharply turned to Robin.
"I should spell it out for you next time!" Robin responded.
"Next time?" Raven said, stepping out of Starfire's grasp in black energy. "There won't be a next time."
"What will it take for me to tell you that I want to go out with you?" Robin exclaimed, slipping out of Beast Boy's bear form.
The other three Titans took a couple steps back, having a feeling that something is about to get down soon.
"Nothing," Raven shrugged.
"Nothing?" Robin repeated.
"Nothing," Raven confirmed.
Robin stood in front of Raven, staring at her with a blank look.
"Get out of my way," Raven sneered at him.
All of the sudden, Robin snapped and said, "Is this enough to prove how much I love you?!" After he made his proclamation, he blushed violently when he noticed both of his hands were touch her breasts.
"Eh… haha, I-I d-didn't mean to… you know," Robin chuckled nervously, cowering under the girl's evil stare.
Her powers were billowing out from her fingertips.
"Look, Raven, I'm so—" he was cut off when a fist rammed into his eye and he fell down on the floor.
Raven pulled her hood up – obviously, she was hiding her blushing cheeks – and quickly walked away. The common room door, then, shut loudly.
Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Starfire came out from their hiding spots and went towards their fallen leader.
"Ow," Robin uttered ingenuously.

Later that night
Robin had an icepack on his right eye, it was swollen.
He sighed and threw the small bag to the floor and laid his head in his pillow, no doubt that he was thinking about Raven.
It was mostly his fault for this to happen, which result a black eye. He should have told her first.
Now Raven would never go out on another date with him.
Knock
Knock
He sat up from his bed when he heard the rapping sounds from his door; he got up from his bed when the door was rapped a few more times. He trudged slowly towards it and opened it slowly, eyes widening.
He quite surprise that Raven was standing under his doorway.
"You, me, tomorrow night," Raven said to him directly.
"Are you asking me out on a date?" Robin said hesitantly.
Raven nodded, her arms crossed together, leaning against the door frame.
"This is not some kind of sick joke?" Robin inquired.
"Want proof?"
"Yes."
Robin's face suddenly reddened when he felt something around his groin, he looked down and his cheeks turned darker.
Raven cleared her throat loudly, her cheeks light pink, mortified to do this. She eventually peeled her hand off from his lower regions.
"I'll be at your door at 7:00 pm tomorrow," Robin said hoarsely.
"Alright then," Raven replied, taking a step back. "Goodnight, Robin." She said before walking away.
"Goodnight!" Robin replied before shutting his door.
He walked back to his bed with no scowl on his face but a smile instead.
'It took three hours to be alone with her, getting into an argument with her, freaked her out when I told her I really liked her, accidentally touching her breasts and resulting a black eye, then she came to my room later and possibly gave me a boner, to ask me out on a date?' Robin thought. 'A strange world we live in…'
"But hey, at least I got a date with her tomorrow," he said to himself.
