Amazing. Great concept of course, but the eye especially is wonderfully done. The focus is perfect and seeing the window(?) reflected in the eye makes you feel as though the subject is trapped and looking out, adding even more to the original concept. I love it!

I love this painting. The eyes are so powerful and the face is so detailed. Just wow. How long did you work on this and do you have any tips you can give me to achieve the same realism? Or do I just have to keep trying?

Than you very much Dominik for your support and positive remarks. My average production is 10 paintings a year. this one took me a month to finish including the canvas preparation. I just keep on trying.
