Basically, Sophie cheering Jessie up from PTSD from the hands of the Octarian Forces, mainly Jessie getting r-ped by the bosses' co-partner (Trince Hays) to the point that Jessie almost got pregnant at 16. This led to him getting killed by Sophie, one she found out. The death of the Trince led to the downfall of the Octarian Forces and led to Sophie killing the boss herself.

In this scene, the trauma of what Trince did to Jessie completely boggles her mind for a while, and Sophie is trying her to not make Jessie have a mental breakdown over it. Jessie kept her cool and is doing good now and has a boyfriend now.
