III - Facing an Illness
Life isn't always about dancing on flowers. Injuries and illnesses are impossible to avoid.

After stepping in a worn and rusted bear trap, Hornsisco had been yowling for a near minute solid before his handler; Kenko, could find the wounded rook. he was bleeding and badly.. Kenko thinking quickly, pried the trap from his friends foot, Sisco squacked in pain as the metal released his flesh. He had learned his lesson for the afternoon. As the kukuri's handler tossed the trap aside Sisco tried to stand but to no avail. Hornsisco colapsed into the grass whimpering, Kenko held Sisco by the horns gently encouraging the creature not to move for fear he would bleed more. With every ounce of strength his little body could muster, Kenko helped his kuku stand and they both managed to get to the barn. Kenko had done the best he could bandaging his kukuri's foot, using a towel he wiped the blood from the wooden floor of the barn. he made a bed of hay inside the barn for Sisco before they both fell fast asleep after a pretty stressful and not to mention painful evening...

Well I hope this passes! For my first kuku (Hornsisco) whom I've finally decided to have basic trust training- sadly my markers are running out of ink so I'm going to start using colored pencils again. Rip my prismacolors T-T

~In this scene Sisco & his handler were practicing/training for fall hunting season, during their adventures in learning to track Kenko (the handler) forgot to grab a few things, telling the kukuri to stay put for a moment he went off, Sisco however spotted a possible prey item and on instinct chased it, unfortunately thats when he stumbled upon the trap. -this is when kenko had come back after hearing the faint sounds of his injured friend crying for help, to find his kuku laying almost flat against the ground.

ANYWAYS- this is much after the original meeting of Kenko & Sisco, Sisco is at the age of two, and Kenko is 19. (Two years have passed)
