To say that the Ghost Clown did a number on Daphne in the weeks since her kidnapping would be a major understatement.

Her brainwashing involved frequent hypnosis sessions, but had also come to include him giving her LSD and shrooms to make her hallucinate. There was no way he could outright erase who she was at her core, get rid of Daphne's identity.

All he could really do was keep it under wraps with regular brainwashing. She had already committed a number of crimes under his command: robbery, breaking and entering, theft, and carjacking.

He had gotten her into the clownish make-up, and she had a whole wardrobe of gaudy clothes at their main hideout. He didn't intend for her to be the only clown girl under his control for long though.
