By this point in the war, Vo Minh Khue had seen quite a bit in her time as a soldier of North Vietnam. She'd seen massed US formations of helicopters attacking NVA positions and she'd masterfully planned ambushes of South Vietnamese forces.

But she'd never seen anything as magnificent as her new masters. She never beheld anything as wonderful as the Saucer Men. Yes, they had to use their hypno-ray on her before collaring her, but she held no grudge over that.

It was just to ensure her unwavering loyalty. The Saucer Men were so much more intelligent, powerful, and wise than the Vietnamese or Americans. They had the power to end war on Earth once and for all. The mind control she was under only further inflamed her patriotism.

The unification of the Vietnamese people, the Vietnamese family, was now within sight. But it would not be unified under the communists like she initially hoped.

No, the Vietnamese people would be unified under the benevolent guidance of the Saucer Men. All the hostility she once bore toward the Americans had melted away. They were no longer her enemy, just an obstacle.

After all, the Saucer Men intended to unify all of Earth under their leadership. They simply had to break down the nationalism and the petty hatreds and rivalries.

And she would gladly assist them. She would do whatever they asked. Whatever they wanted.

Vo Minh Khue smiled as she approached one of the Saucer Men, his red spacesuit marking him as an officer.
"Honored one," she said. "I thank you for showing me the way to making my people whole again. Please, how may I show you my gratitude?"

The alien looked at her for a moment before giving her an instruction that made her go weak at the knees.

"I wish to relax, human. You will come to my quarters and pleasure me."

Khue smiled and hopped to her feet.

"Yes, Honored one!" She followed the officer back to his quarters, a dome shaped like a small house that had been set up on the grounds of what had been her base.

She felt is was the least she could do for showing her the way to bring peace to Earth at last.
