Jess took this selfie especially for the times when you need more Jess in your life. Frankly that's most of us, most of the time. She is willing to pull out all of the filters to give you maximum Jess.

I have a lot of fun with Jess: writing her, and creating images of her. This image was no exception.

The base image was created using Stable Diffusion (F222) and upscaled. I then used Faceapp to add the face of my my favourite redhead. From there I had a lot of work to do!

First I had to blend the images together in a way that looked even and realistic, which required a significant amount of manual paintbrush work on the hair! I had to do the customary faceapp eye fix: to make sure that the light reflections were the same on both of her eyes.

I had to remove extra straps and other asymmetries from her sports bra. I find one of the most impressive features of Stable Diffusion is its ability to draw a beautifully filled sports bra, but occasionally it gets too creative and adds straps and holes where there shouldn't be.

Finally, I had to match the colour balance and level of saturation in different parts of the image.

Lots of work, but I think this is one of my best original images to date.
