Description
.Some of the images I produce are representations of my imagination at specific moments in time,....produced as a way of recording concepts and ideas as they come to mind.
...I see Photographs as very real,........ they are of course nothing of the sort.
They contain no more or no less truth than a painting or a written work of fiction.
At their most simplistic they are a fantasy.
.
teki-talki :
I used the fluorescent light at the landing of this exit stairway to set the white balance,.....later I altered the color gradient in PS,
...and finally I rotated the canvas to try to confuse everybody
hope you like it

OOOOO! I got it. My first impression was... "Oh this is sooo cool looking, but huh? which way does it go?" I saw the stairs on the side - but still couldn't understand until after I read through the whole description
Very tricky. It made an awsome picture!

I like it , great lines & colors ! Good idea to rotate , I actually did the same with a staircase just last nite . One suggestion ; the light is a bit bright & distracting , maybe a selective mask to darken a bit ?

thought this was a subway shot for a while until I caught the stairs on the left and realized railings on the ground don't make much sense. Nice abstract piece, feels like I'm walking on the walls.

hahahah, I can see the stairs if I tilt my head to the right!
very clever, if you didn't tell me it was stairs it would just look like a cool design of striking colours!
very nice!

Hmm, I'm confused... and surprised, too. Nice surprised. I like very much the perspective and think that the colors came out very good. I like it very much.

Who's to say that the stairs aren't really a wall of their own?
Neat shot.

Can I ask you something? How on earth did you get so fabulous at perspectives and composition? Did you learn it yourself or did you study it somewhere? I'm just amazed how well everything fits together in your pics.

very nicely done
excellent idea on the rotation ... i may have to try it some
hmm... i think i would have either softened up the green or change the cyan a tad ... they seem to break the natural coloring and make it look like a digital hue change ... a bit
cheers

I like it a lot, but I think ~skull is right when he says that it looks better when rotated so that the stairs are on the bottom.

Very cool photo, it is incredable the imagination it takes to transfigurate that scene.
It took me some time to understand how you did it, good work.
You do very nice things with your nikon fisheye, congratulations.

Nice shot, but again, I have comments (you must hate me )...
The turquoise/greeny/blue colour around the light does not fit in, IMO. It just kinda draws attention away from the rest of the picture... That's just a personal feel though (because I hate that colour, no matter where it is).
Also, I'm not sure about the rotation... I rotated it back to original myself, and it seems to be more dramatic that way...
Tell me what you think about that, it's all just a big IMO anyway
Oh and I love how the stairs curve without losing any quality... Either good camera, or good skills or both I'd say both
