Last update: Just added an idea for Humantalia.WORK IN PROGRESS
Please help me with him, thank you. I cannot be rid of a feeling like I'm doing something horribly wrong so someone else's view can help.
Profile can be considered somewhat close to completion. Vaguely. ???
I would add when I remember more. The profile is obviously not complete. Even if it appears "long", I can't help but feel I'm missing something. I would also like to say that just about everything here is typed from memory. I haven't had time to actively research, so I've put down everything that I can remember.
When I refer to "sister" or "brother", I mean the states. I believe the states are older than him as there were more "kingdoms" before the Malaccan Sultanate which were under the rule of the Siamese, Majapahit and Srivijaya. Srivijaya came first, by the way (finally got the name!) Sabah/Sarawak were under Brunei at one point, as well as the Sulu Kingdom.
I'll constantly update this whenever I get something I feel should be added, and may be changed several times a day, therefore the "version".
Why do I still get so embarrassed when I ask for help with the profile though... it's a good thing, the critique, but why self, why.

Uniform in profile card is the modern army uniform.

+ They're Malaysians as well, if any of you didn't check it out.
Country name: Federation of Malaysia, formerly known as Malaya/Federation of Malaya
Human name: Given "Daniel Kirkland" by England. Given "Ling Wei Xiong" by Hong Kong (headcanon dictates they have stayed together in England's house. It was probably pretty boring as well). Malay name is "Mansor bin Muhammad", Mansor from a sultan during the Malaccan Sultanate, and Muhammad from the Prophet Muhammad.
+ I learnt it as "Mansor", and other notes mention a "Mansur" who was the sultan of Malacca's golden age. In any case, I decided on this name because of that very reason. It means "victorious".
+ I changed "Damien" to "Daniel" because it seems it was quite popular in the 1700s. I like the name as well. I'm not too sure about England bothering enough to give him a name that fits ("Daniel" means "God is my judge" apparently) because during this time, he would be very busy, even though he might care a lot for his colonies.
+ He would probably be called "Man" (Ma-hn) or "Dan". More likely the latter, because most people seem to have English nicknames, no matter if they know what it means or not.
+ "Wei" means "power, strength". "Xiong"'s literal meaning is "bear", apparently. Makes me think of the sun bear...
To be perfectly honest, I took "Wei Xiong" mostly because I thought it sounded nice, then I remembered my cousin's name's also this. I did check the meaning for the name before I got set on it, and I think it suits Man's reckless nature pretty well.
Birthday: 31st August 1957. Has been in existence since the 1400s, when the Peninsula was united under the rule of the Malaccan Sultanate.
About 400 years old in total, coming to 55 year 2012. He should look in his late teens, early adulthood. Somewhat like 18-19 but my art style... I haven't gotten the hang of making him look older. I apologise.
Appearance: The two ahoge represent the Petronas Twin Towers. Before they were built, the ahoge of course, didn't exist. The objective of building the towers was to put Malaysia on the map, therefore ahoge. If you remove that, he looks very plain.
The mole under his right eye represents Langkawi.
He's tanned from the years he's spent under the tropical sun. Would probably wear sneakers when doing some serious walking in malls (he himself doesn't shop much, but no harm in looking for something during sales, right? In-house sales happen quite often too...)
Wears a Baju Melayu or suit when working.
I've drawn his WWII military uniform before, but that wasn't exactly the best. I looked up what was used on the Tugu Negara, and it seems pretty close, actually. Today's uniform is a typical green camo. The blue one is for National Service trainees, I believe.
Weight/Height: About 55-60kg, standing at 170cm.
Personality: Malaysia is one of the perennially happy countries, if only because of the mostly sunny weather. He isn’t particularly charming, and can appear quite dense. He is generous, and will be willing to share what he’s got. There are times where he gets fiercely possessive and selfish, even childish. During times like these, you might be better off leaving him alone as he’s also fairly stubborn. He can get hung up on tiny things and be very picky, but not necessarily so. [[ He may get the nitpicky habit from his politicians, but it's not in his nature to be so. He gets more annoyed/embarrassed by them than anything else, says headcanon. ]]
He likes having people asking him for help. Unfortunately, he has a tendency to not do the job until it’s nearly too late. Once you pressure him though, he can finish it in record speed and not too badly done either. It wouldn’t hurt to double check, just in case.
He’s friendly and loves being in the company of people. One of his hobbies is talking and he can happily chat with a person for as long as the other party doesn’t mind. He sometimes comes off as ignorant or spaced-out because general knowledge isn’t his strong point. He gets curious about things he doesn’t know about [which is quite a lot] and would badger someone who seems more knowledgeable about it until he’s satisfied. He’s also gullible, so someone might need to set him straight [probably Singapore].
+ From my observations, Malaysians can come across as ignorant, probably because of the education system, which is focused mainly on Malaysia. Those who travel usually are more aware, but if I take myself as an example, there's still a lot of things which I probably should know but don't.
+ Give two Malaysians some common ground - food, say - and they'd probably compare eateries, their prices, and give recommendations. From what I see, talking is what many of us do, even if I don't *cough*
Malaysia is fiercely competitive, mostly among the ASEAN and especially Indonesia. He does care for all of them like brothers and sisters, though squabbles with Indo might get out of hand. While he looks dreamy, he has a temper which usually crops up when he gets frustrated. He likes to get rid of stress by gaming, eating or through martial arts.
He enjoys his holidays even if he already takes frequent breaks anyway. He calls it a time where everyone in his family have to get together to just play around, talk or watch Korean dramas [his sisters]. He’s the type to get initially hyped over something new and lets it fizzle out when he’s bored or tired. When he does stick to something, he does it whole-heartedly and you will see how serious he can get.
He’s brave, sometimes fool-hardy, also able to be rather full of himself and over-confident. He’s impulsive and would dive into things without knowing much about it beforehand. He calls it ‘learning from experience’ and he tends not to listen to advice anyway. It’d be better to let him run his course.
If complimented, he might go on a tangent about how "awesome" (or whatever adjective that was used) it is. If he gives them, he might exaggerate them and just shower the receiver (which would happen more often with someone he likes, I suppose). He can be quite tactless, and isn't afraid to "badmouth" himself. [[ It doesn't seem that overseas Malaysians would (often) do that, but locally, we have a tendency to spork the government. There's quite a fair bit of in-jokes which would be hard to get, since they're usually in Malay as well. ]] While he is sometimes brutally honest, he doesn't usually say something that might embarrass someone [[ like, "There's something stuck in your teeth." I heard over the radio that generally, we just smile and ignore that little bit and allow someone else to point it out. ]]. It might be considered a bad habit, since some things aren't good to stay quiet over.
+ Okay that first point needs more explanation, but I'm not sure how to put it into words. I'm trying to make this part his more personal side, because it's not quite a stereotype.
+ Um. Like this. Say you praised his cooking. He'd just go, "Yalar, the food's great!" If you praise him, he'd say, "Aiya, simple oni mah, even I can do!" You can either take it as conceitedness, him poking fun at himself, or just him being 'Whatever you say works for me' kind of thing. Hopefully that doesn't sound overly confusing. Aha.
+ It's probably typical Asian conservativeness that you won't say anything to embarrass whoever you're with.
+ The honest part is me trying to make it into a personal trait.
Other stray points which I need to add in somewhere before it looks ever more awkward: Naive, somewhat dreamy, indecisive...
He also likes to try get free holidays at other nations' place. A typical Asian habit of wanting to save money, as well as the Malaysian wanderlust (apparently).
Flag: Called the Jalur Gemilang - translated to Glorious Stripes - has 4 main colours; red (bravery), blue (pride????), white (purity) and yellow (colour representing royalty and Islam). I can't remember when it was created or by whom orz
The cresent explicitly represents Islam. Both the fourteen spoke star and fourteen stripes represent the 13 states and one federal territory (Kuala Lumpur).
History: 1400s. The Malaccan Sultanate unites the peninsular and half of Sumatera. Melaka (Malay name for Malacca) finds him lost in the busy port.
· 1400s to 1500s. Malaya picks up trading skills from being involved in port duties. He meets India, Japan, China, Singapore, Indonesia and other Asian/Islamic countries. He is especially close with the first three, they being major traders at port. Singapore and Indonesia are under his sister’s rule. The Thai/Siamese were also involved (in protection? Can't recall. But whatever threats they had made ceased when China was brought in to acknowledge Malacca's sovereignty. Parameswara, the founder of Malacca/Melaka had killed a Thai official during his time in Temasek/Singapore. He escaped prosecution and arrived at the fishing village which eventually became the Sultanate.)
· 24th August 1511. The Portuguese invades, and Melaka sends him away. He was not allowed to fight with his sister and is taken care by Penang. Except Johor, whose sultanate fights to regain Melaka, all the other states fall into obscurity. (This bit is mostly headcanon.)
· 14th January 1641. He learns that the Netherlands has taken over Melaka’s land. He is still not allowed to see her. All this while, only Johor actually does anything to try regaining the land.
· 1786. Kedah’s sultan leases Penang to the British. It’s the beginning of England’s colonial rule. Malaya does not appreciate his presence. (England was probably smarting from America’s independence and did not care for Malaya either.)
· 1824. Malaya gets to see Melaka again after the Anglo-Dutch treaty. The whole peninsular now belongs to the British Empire. Raw minerals will continue to be mined and stricter rules be implemented. Any uprisings by his brothers and sisters are swiftly quelled.
· 1841. Malaya stays with Hong Kong so that England spends less time travelling to and fro the world. Singapore would likely be here as well considering my headcanon and in general, the Commonwealth nations in Asia. Except India... personally I feel that India would be too proud to move and refuse England's suggestions point blank.
Since Hong Kong has a typhoon season, I suppose Malaya's dislike of the rain merely becomes entrenched in him since his activities would get limited. Practicing martial arts indoors helps alleviate the feeling but he's rather terrified of breaking things because right now, he's not the moderately capable 'handyman' he can become. The servants would give him a long lecture, probably.
· 1894. Malaya isn't allowed to go out of the house - something he hates - and isn't allowed to see Hong Kong while the latter tries to recuperate from the bubonic plague.
· 1914-1918. WWI didn't affect Malaya, but he is taught how to use firearms instead of his martial arts and swords/daggers.
This period doesn't have anything interesting in particular. There's some rebellion, swiftly crushed. Continued mining. Rubber prices drop, but the economy can still depend on tin mining.
· 1941. Malaya goes back ‘home’. He gets some burn scars, an effect of the British army stationed in Malaya burning bridges etc. to try slowing down the Japanese advance. The people are generally happy that the Japanese are coming, with the promise of independence. Malaya fights if only because of ‘obligations’ to England. He tries and fails to fight off Japan in Singapore, where he finally falls. He gains a scar across his stomach for his effort.
During this time, the Chinese were oppressed because of the Sino-Japanese war; young Chinese men went to China to fight against the Japanese, thus when the Japanese arrived in Malaya, there was already mutual hatred. The Malays were favoured, since they were needed to help bolster the Japanese position in Malaya.
From the little I learnt in school, Japanese names, Japanese (school curriculum included I assume), the singing of the Japanese anthem, the yen, were all imposed on the citizens. They had ration cards and stuff like attendance slips to make sure they worked.
School never mentioned if citizens were also forced to accept the culture. It's likely, but without looking up sources, I can't say for sure. Citizens were also sent off to build that railway of death, where conditions were appalling and nutrition scarce.
When the Japanese started realizing they were going to lose, they "loosened" the rules in an effort to keep the country.
The book said that due to colonization by both Western and Eastern forces, it gave rise to strong nationalism.
· 1945. Japan is defeated. For two weeks before the British return, there is an attempt of a coup by Communist parties. Weakened by Japan’s treatment, he is unable to do anything until England’s return.
· 1st April 1949. Malaya is against the Malayan Union. He begins to ask for independence.
· 1950s. Malaya feels unsure about his stance when Hartal happens (it was when the "radical" groups staged a day long boycott against the Federal Constitution). He reasons that there would always be people against something, therefore he steels himself and throws himself into talks. He is upset that they are labelled as Communists, when they are merely left-wing. He gets tasked with diplomacy work and therefore does not fully involve himself in the plans against Communism. He finds out later that some key left-wingers have been arrested (eventually released).
· 31st August 1957. Malaya gains independence after long discussions. (I admit I’m lazy to elaborate, but the gist is that there’s really lots of talks and the main point was that it was bloodless.)
· 1963 ~ 1965. Opposition to the formation of Malaysia with Singapore, Sarawak and Sabah. There is a confrontation with Indonesia whereupon he gains military help from England, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. The Philippines also refuses to acknowledge his independence and MAPHILINDO is formed to conduct talks. (It failed, more or less. The dispute ended when the leader of the IndoMalay confrontation was killed, and the Philippines was fine with the idea by then.) Brunei does not join the Federation, mostly over royalty arguments on Brunei's oil reserves.
· 1965. Singapore splits from Malaysia. He's unhappy that things were unable to be resolved, that resulted in the split.
From a personal point of view, he would probably be quite inconsolable for a while.
I learnt that the reason for the split was mostly due to clash of ideals and the disagreement over the Malays' special rights.
· 1967. ASEAN is formed. (7 countries only at first? Can't remember.)
· 13th May 1969. Racial riots in Malaysia. (Headcanon says he has a faint scar running up his right arm from this event, as people took up arms to kill. I suppose it can be considered a constant reminder of what he doesn't want to happen again, and that he'll use his strength to protect. Diplomacy is pretty much the most important thing, as the country does not have a significant army/firepower.)
The country starts fully developing, reducing poverty rates due to oil and manufacturing. Economic power was transferred to the Malays, according to Wikipedia. I do remember that the handling of the economic crisis was said to be a fantastic move by Dr Mahathir.
· 1998. The Twin Towers are completed. He finds himself getting more noticed. He also gets vaguely annoyed by the gravity-defying hair.
Taking from Wikipedia alone, there seriously isn't anything particularly "major". There was a political shift in the '08 elections due to the unprecedented votes given to opposition parties. While Barisan Nasional still held the majority, it wasn't the 2/3 they were expecting.
On a personal level, I suppose Man would be more cautious because with this sort of change, who knows what will happen?
Speaking of the 1970s onwards, the most development in the history of Malaysia would be mostly economic and the shifts that happen because of the economic situation.
· 2001. The BBC mentions that there was another racial clash, this time between Malays and the Chinese. [[ I was only 7 then, so I was too young to understand, I suppose. ]] On a personal level, this would make Man absolutely terrified. He'd probably be wondering why something like this happened again; the BBC only gives a timeline, so I don't know how bad it was. His right arm would hurt again.
· 2002. Work to deport illegal foreigners starts; it's not something Man likes - his idealistic nature comes into play - but he has to follow the law, and he has to think about his people first.
· 2004. The Asian tsunami disaster. More than 60 people die, with I believe a majority of them were in Penang, seeing that the island would be closest to the epicenter. Providing aid takes priority, as planned deportations get delayed.
From this point onwards, most of what the BBC mentions in the timeline is of political nature. [[ I wonder what will happen next. ]]
Relations: Would technically have relations with all countries. Why he would at least know of every country is because Malaysians absolutely love to travel.
Closest: ASEAN (Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Myanmar, Cambodia, Philippines) + 3 (South Korea, China, Japan), to a certain extent India (by this logic, the Netherlands and Portugal) due to historical relations, England
He might be quite close to Vietnam - apart from his immediate neighbours Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia - because in 1978 to 1989, there were Vietnamese benefiting from unrestricted asylum, says BBC.
Trade: America, Canada, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Japan, South Korea... probably more, but quite significant trade with these. More recently, with Turkey.
Also, Eurozone, but without research, I can't say to which extent. [[ Man I need time to look up all these ]]
Bilateral trades with France breached 4 billion euros, according to the radio. Interesting~
Tourism: The whole works. Seriously. Europe is popular, but people would go just about anywhere.
As of 2012, the Latin American Festival is in its fourth year and Mexico has joined it for the first time.
France may interest a niche here.
Would be quite close to S. Korea now, seeing that K-pop is popular.
Annually, the Bon Odori is celebrated. I know for sure that there are pockets of Japanese and Korean residents. I'm not too sure about the other nations', but there are the expatriates.
Ukraine has offered visa-free travel. Easier time to go travelling then!
Education: England (Britain in general, but Scotland/Wales/N. Ireland seem rare), Canada (picking back up, I hear), Australia (immensely popular), New Zealand (not quite as popular but fairly so), Singapore (typically Johoreans), Russia (medicine usually), America.
"Key Embassies":
[[ I'm taking this info from a booklet issued by the rapidKL or the company that handles most of the public transportation. ]]
- Australia
- Britain
- Brunei
- Canada
- China
- Denmark [[ I'm actually surprised by this. I didn't know there were enough Danes in Malaysia to warrant being called a 'key embassy'. The more you know. ]]
- Egypt
- France
- Germany
- India
- Indonesia
- Japan
- Republic of South Korea
- Netherlands
- New Zealand
- Saudi Arabia
- Singapore
- Thailand
- United Arab Emirates
- United States of America
+Also would at least be cordial with the other Commonwealth. Would likely know France a little more through Seychelles (the island is mentioned in history as a place of exile for one of the state's sultans), and there were submarine deals conducted with France, but nothing else particularly significant. Portugal and the Netherlands may have had "close relations", but only historically. There isn't anything that stands out in their modern day interactions.
+ Also, relations with other Islamic countries. I imagine he's not very devout though.
+ CANNOT interact with Israel due to policies.
+ Most likely to have spats with Indonesia and Singapore. May be vaguely uncomfortable with the Philippines if only due to the nation refusing to acknowledge his independence, but frankly, no.
+ Has some contact with the African nations (South Africa, due to immigrants from ages ago, and the others due to a campaign to clear misconceptions about the forming of Malaysia. I can't quite remember, but it could have been to counter a "smear campaign" by Indonesia.)
Might be a little closer to Bosnia-Herzegovina (sp?) due to Malaysia sending military aid/troops to them during their conflict.
It may be Stu-ish to say he notices Canada, but from what I know, there are many who go to Canada to live there (eventually becoming citizens), study and for holidays. They usually go to Vancouver, for reasons I haven't found out yet.
He hasn't forgotten about the atrocities, of course, but due to the open door policy and his own desire to smooth things over, he's "forgiven" Japan (probably Russia as well, since the Communism scare wasn't the best thing in their relations).
Random fact(s):
The Embassy of Cuba is not far away from the Cultural Center here in Malaysia.
The Malaysian Embassy in South Africa looks somewhat like a colonial mansion, if memory serves me. It was pretty quaint looking.
Quirks:
- Has a habit of using a variety of verbal tics such as "lah", "mah", "meh" or equivalent. He often slips into "Manglish" when speaking. He is however, able to use okay English when in writing.
- Is a somewhat reckless driver. He would probably justify why he's breaking traffic laws with sometimes ridiculous reasons.
- Tendency to be late no matter how early he starts off. It's because he'd take it easy when he sees that he's got ample time, then get distracted or carried away relaxing and forgetting whatever he was supposed to be early for.
- I don't think he's actually practising a religion. He would follow the general rules of Islam, but I think that personifications have some leeway in what they do or believe in. (This isn't quite a quirk, nor 'little things', so I'll just put it here.)
- A rather conservative person, but may at times express either complete innocence (or idiocy) or something bluntly truthful/graphic. His sources of information tend to be random as well, since he's not the type to research and relying on mostly hear-say. (He's a busybody.)
- An impulse buyer. If something's on sale or is "rare", more likely than not he's buying it.
Little things:
- Favourite colour: Yellow (You can call it the national colour. In truth, it's the colour of royalty.)
- Favourite drink: Teh tarik (Kopi 'O' or Milo would be good at a typical hawker's, to drink while chatting. While traditional coffee houses are rare, it's what people do here; discuss things over food. Kopi 'O' is black coffee by the way.)
- Favourite food: Ehh... roti canai, laksa, nasi lemak... all can gua.
- Favourite dessert: Ais kacang!
- Favourite game: Flying Wau and pusing gasing still fun lah.
- Favourite sport: Football nice to watch! May be a supporter of Manchester United going by Maybank...? He'd probably be a badminton player.
- Is a practitioner of silat. His siblings are better than him though, since he's been busy doing paperwork or slacking rather than training.
- A little out of practice with using the keris.
- May watch some anime (due to relatively large "otaku" population) but he's not particularly interested.
- Absolutely loves holidays and festivals, and would eagerly accept invitations for parties. He's there for only food though, as he shouldn't - can't, according to religion - drink alcohol. Anyway, he loves food more than drink.
- He does drink occasionally, if only because the few times he actually gets time to visit Sabah and Sarawak, he'd drink tapai with them, as a tradition. It's what guests to the longhouses do. [[ I think it's a welcoming ceremony done for tourists. I heard tapai is a little pungent, but I can't be sure. ]]
- Apparently his MBTI type is ESFP, which seems quite legit.
- Language(s): Malay (main), English/Manglish. He's somewhat familiar with the Chinese dialects and Tamil, but he doesn't use them often and is quite rusty. He may know rudimentary Portuguese, as there is a small population of Serani (they're mixed bloods of locals and Portuguese, who still practice their ancestors' traditions). Tiny chance of knowing Japanese and German due to the languages being in vogue at some point, but it's very, very iffy.
- He gets a little cold when it comes to the end of the year, when the northern states start flooding due to monsoon rains. [[ It's a regular thing, the floods. There doesn't seem to be a permanent solution as yet -_-; ]]
- He stays somewhere in Putrajaya, because that's the administration center.

Reasoning for headcanon (to be added if I miss out something, as I usually do)
- Dan being sent to Penang: Portugal was after the Malaccan Sultanate, and he being young at the time, obviously he's not the one 'in charge'. (Considering Malacca/Melaka is female) His sister sent him to Penang because it was under Kedah's rule initially, and the Sultan of Kedah had traditionally good relations with Siam/Thailand, a powerful ally to have.
- Not under Portugal: Another reason I think so is because Portugal/Netherlands wasn't after the whole peninsula. They were only after Malacca, the port town, not its territories.
- In theory, he could have been formed earlier. There were already people during the Srivijaya and Majapahit rule, after all, but the states were already sovereign nations in their own, and "Tanah Melayu" would be considered a part of Indonesia, not a nation on its own. That's why Man has technically never been under Indonesia. This is of course, just my headcanon.
Headcanon for states
Selangor
Female. I thought it over and it makes more sense for her to be a confident young lady who's quite Westernised and always tries to keep up with the latest trends. The state can be considered the most developed, and Kuala Lumpur, the capital, is a federal territory in the state. She's usually in a hurry. Her mind is very quick and nimble, and she's very practical and business minded. She usually eats on the go. Due to business, she ensures she always looks her best, and keeps her skin nice and fair to make a 'better impression'. I don't think she'll dye her hair though, but she'd love collecting accessories and dressing up.
Penang
Female. Mostly Chinese influence, with Malay on the side (Baba Nyonya). She is the best at cooking, and loves eating as well. She is fairly tanned due to beach outings. I think she'd have a stall she operates too, to connect with the people at a more personal level. Fiercely independent. Possibly arguing lots with Selangor mostly over food [[ my mom is from Penang, and she always complains that the 'Penang' food sold here - Selangor - is not the least authentic. ]].
Melaka/Malacca
Female. Regal. She's firm and a motherly figure to most of the other states due to her well-known empire. She might be fond of Portugal, as there is still a community of Portuguese descent still staying in the state, who still maintain their traditions. She is fond of old things, and can get quite sentimental.
Kedah
Male. Twin (?) of Kelantan [undecided]. He's the third eldest of all the states, with Sarawak and Sabah being older. He's also the tallest and tannest (farmer's tan) with naturally thickish eyebrows. He's religious. He's also the silent type, and a hard worker. Also a traditionalist.
Kelantan
Male. Twin of Kedah. He's slightly shorter than Kedah, but they look about the same. He's probably more devout than Kedah. He's also a farmer. Likely grumpy due to frequent monsoon floods?
Sarawak
Female. She spends a lot of time with her indigenous people. After all, the very first people who stepped on her lands lived in caves, and that people wouldn't willingly enter dense forests, I think that she'd be very attached. Of course, she does do her admin work when necessary. Might be a country bumpkin, similar to Sabah.
Sabah
Male. Wise old man??
Perlis
Female. Small-sized.
Perak
Male.
I had a look at a gallery displaying some history of the royals of Perak, I've gotten some idea on him...
Sporty, stern, determined, brave, ritualistic, traditionalist?, respects the dead, prideful.
Most of the past sultans seem to have been involved in sport at one point or another. They have also quite a place in earlier British history, the sultan getting invites to events. One of which being Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee.
Pahang
Male. Outdoorsy, curious explorer.
Terengganu
Female. Somehow I feel like she'd be the prettiest. She is down to earth, and does not like being cooped up inside. She does have most of the Peninsula's coast after all. She likes going out to the beach and thus she is quite tanned. Her long black hair - up to her waist - is sun-bleached. She is especially fond of turtles.
Negeri Sembilan
Undecided. Due to Adat Pepatih, if male: very respectful of women. If female: probably feminist.
Johor
Male. Rowdy type?

Author ramblings: His sign would be Virgo, but I feel he seems more of a Libra.
+ I'm putting up a clothing dump for him sometime. I keep changing his casual clothes
+I'm also developing a 2P, but until I can get something concrete, I'm not going to put him up yet. Nyo!MY up [link] .

Ideas for Humantalia
I consider him a crybaby when young. He absolutely hates when people start fighting. Initially a softie who might get bullied (he might not be on account on easily mixing with people, but of course that doesn't mean he won't make enemies). He gets an interest in martial arts because he thinks they look "cool", and he matures from the experience. I suppose he'd also pick it up so that he can more easily stop people from fighting, after he gets the strength to be able to hold people back.
