Ok...sooo...a good while back, there was an "element dance" thing going on. I remember wanting to do it...but I didn't remember starting it. APPARENTLY I DID! Because...well here it is. lol. Incomplete obviously...but you get the point.Random lost doodle from binder Numero Dos!

Of course, I don't mean like a Picasso of meshed feelings contorted into an image of raw emotion. XD yeah, most of the time, it's simply drawing and thinking as you draw.
I like to use my emotions when I draw for added determination. >__o probably one of my secret tactics for finishing a picture... which.. I don't do often.....
I miss the fact that it's no longer coloured ;___; fuu fuu. Which pic is that from anyways?

I generally have an idea of what I'm drawing when I start, but details definitely come as it's going along. And I think there's a few pictures I've drawn that spawned from how I was feeling at the time. But only a few.
And this one might be colored at some point, especially since the picture it's cut from is one of Fox's reference sheet. The particular one displaying his clothing.

That's good. At least you can kind of relate to what I'm sayin'! xP I like having a sketch section ever so often where I don't actually know what I'm going to be drawing and just start. Usually, I just have a certain feeling I want to give off in the drawing and continue to elaborate. That was how I came up with things like Panadrome Symphony, Hands of Comfort, Fascination, Clipped Wings, You've got wings..., Thank You for 4oo0, Mellow Jester, Glimmer Sparrow, Girl of Promise, etc. (often spurred by one emotion or another.)
I can be fun just drawing to see what your mind has in it's creative storehouses when on demand. ^-^

I can doodle an eyeball and go from there many times. Its kind of fun because it could be anything when you start from the eyeball :3
Granted half the time I start a drawing, the music is what drives it...so yeah..

That's cool! I've heard many artists doing that. Myself, I prefer to start with a rough outline of the face, then next comes eyes, nose, mouth, so on. I've wanted to try starting with eyes, but I'm pretty sure I'd end up disporportioned. X'D Lucky you!

Well the only thing I'll draw without any outline or generally idea at all would be dragons or creatures like that. That way I can go whichever way. With humanoids I generally do some vague pose at least. ;3

That makes sense. I actually watched some professional artist at a booth once just start with a blank piece of paper, then plunk eyes down (just out of the blue) then work a masterpiece face around it. It's insanity, I tell you!!
Yeah, just checking. E.S. Posthumus is one I think you'd really like. They are immensely popular because of their orchestra compositions. One of their songs, "Nara", was the opening theme to the show "Cold Case" - which got was pretty much the song that made them famous. Of course, once you've heard Lux Aeterna, nothing compares, but I frequently have they're wonderful stuff on repeat as I draw. ;D I'll give you Nara and a couple of others for now.
