Simple drawings, flat colors, nice texts etc... do you know why a manga is never colored?
Because drawings and texts must be an unique thing

Absolutely, back in the early days you could absorb both the story and the drawing in one go thanks to the simplistic nature of the art. With the modern issues, I often have to read the story again because I focus too much on the advanced quality of the drawings (not thats a bad thing). I guess the other extreme is the infamous "Naugus Games" story that was drawn by "Many Hands". The story would've been pretty good had there have been actual drawings and not just a montage of Sonic's eyes in the first part and a thick blizzard in the second.

Well honestly I tried to do a cell shading on it but it wouldn't have work very good ^^ In my opinion comics should be flat colored, to not distract who's reading it from texts to drawings
