It was my first ballet lesson. I was either 8 or 9, or maybe 7, I cant remember how old I was. I just know that I was a little little girl wearing a tutu xD
Anyways, I had no clue who all these girls were, I had never met the instructor before, and I had no clue the layout of the building. Anyways, I'm in the back of the class, in the corner kinda, furthest away from the teacher/other kids, and we're practicing some moves I don't remember. I just remember that I REALLY had to pee, but me being a chicken, couldnt' just raise my hand and ask. No, I held it in. For hours. Until I couldn't hold it in anymore. And..... I peed myself. Right there. In the class. A very long, hot pee that went down my legs, made a noise from the pee hitting the floor, and then an ocean was formed around me. I wanted to run. But I was a deer in headlights. Everyone was looking at me. Some girls ran, some laughted. It was horrible. O.O
I never took ballet again. And I never NEVER hold my pee in anymore LOL  Anyways, my mom was called, and I was crying in the back room. I don't remember how I got there, but I was naked wearing a towel, my clothes were in a bag. My mom came and I just cried more. Saying over and over that I didn't wanna come back. HOrrible day.

100000% true story.

I have purposely forgotten all of my embarrassing moments, so here's 2 funny stories that happened on the same day.
Some background information: I am on my schools track team, we have a guys team and a girls team. I was the only girl to go with the guys to one of their meets, and the weather was really weird that day.

First story:
So we had just gotten to the school that the meet was at and were setting up our area, I was helping the guys set up the tent, since the only reason I was allowed to go was to help out. After said tent was set up, the whole team was hanging out under it since the meet hadn't started yet. I was looking through my phone and I look up cause one of the guys was telling a story, evidently they had either forgotten that I was 1 a girl or 2 there at all, cause once they noticed me, the guy telling the story yells "Close your ears!" at me, which I did for the entire rest of the story. Anytime I'd go to take my hands from my ears the same guy would yell for me to close my ears again, I had to wait for a male friend of mine to ask if I could open my ears before I could finally take my hands from my ears. After that they kept making nut puns, and not nuts like peanuts if you get what I'm saying.

Second story:
On the way to the school, the guys were joking about another team's tent which had apparently blown away last year because it was windy. It was also windy when we got to the school, so when we set up the tent, we made sure that it was really low so that the wind wouldn't be able to blow it away. Fast forward about a hour later and I was sitting in the middle of the field where some of the events are taking place, I look up from what I was doing just in time to see our tent cartwheeling away from the rest of our stuff. Then all of the guys not doing anything start running over to the tent, I went over to see what had happened and the tent was broken in three places. We ended up putting the tent away and moving all of our stuff under a set of bleachers. Everyone was then in a terrible mood as the tent was broken and it rained throughout the rest of the meet and we had no where to go. It also happened to be a brand new tent.

This is crazy .... 100% true but insane ....

I used to skateboard to the barn up the street from me, we have this insane crazy tight turn that's COVERED in trees. I was preparing for a show and started running a bit late, so I finished gathering my bags and took off on my skateboard. I got a mile down the road to that crazy turn and I normally stop and walk around it on the side of the road to avoid being hit. Well this morning I was feeling gutsy and just skated it ... You have to slow down to about 20mph to get around it so it wasn't to to bad but I ran right into someones truck. I bounced right off the front and right into the ditch ... I was totally embarrassed, what made it even worse was it was the farm owner! She stopped and got out to make sure I was okay but I was sooo red I didn't want to speak at all. At this point I had the breath knocked out of me and what I later found to be a fracture in my left wrist. We got to the barn looked me over and other then a few bruises I seemed fine so we loaded up the tack and horses and headed to the show. We brought our green broke 3 year old stallion with us to test him around the show scene, he did pretty well through the first half which was English events. We were all riding Western Pleasure and Reining that day so during the first half we walked him around seeing how he reacted, he did well so we decided to enter him into a few easy classes. I got to ride him because I was interested in purchasing him. He did great in the first class but spooked badly in the second class. We were trotting around and everything was fine till he saw a person standing by the fence and he bolted. I was holding on for dear life when he went running up to a fence and just stopped suddenly sending me over the fence and onto the ground. I of course landed on my right wrist and again the breath knocked outta me. I got up dusted myself off but at this point I noticed both my wrists were swollen and my right one was starting to bruise. I was rushed off to the local ER and looked at when the doctor told me I had fractured my left wrist in 2 places and broke my right wrist in one place and fractured it in two other spots, I also had 6 bruised ribs and one cracked. It was horrible. I walked around wrapped up with bandages and both my wrists in casts for the next month. The story still embarrasses me to this day.

this one is so insanely stupid i physically die every time i remember doing this

in seventh grade, i had to take the public bus to school. this bus gave zero flips and was always late, making us have to run down the hill to class. this was one of those days, and i was having a rather stressful morning. as soon as the bus dropped us off, i darted ACROSS. THE. ROAD. WITHOUT LOOKING.
kiddos, look before you cross the road.
about four lanes of fast moving traffic cars hit their brakes, and by the time i got across the road i turned around to see my friends all laughing while a bunch of angry irishmen were banging on their car horns. i was so embarrassed, but felt so, so bad when i noticed that one of the drivers was a young mom, trying to catch her breath while her kids in the back were craning their necks to look at me.
i scared her so, so much hhhrrhh 👍: 0 ⏩: 0

Lol the fundraiser incident was embarrassing  XD

Also, one time I had a sleepover at my house with a couple of my friends. We were playing a scary game and me and my sister were on the top bunk of my bunk-beds. Then she all of the sudden just leans over the rail, falls head first and lands on her feet like a cat. When I climbed down to see if she was ok, I couldn't stop laughing and I actually collapsed with tears forming in my eyes... The best part was she didn't even know what happened and she just sat there and said, "I thought I was gonna fall on my neck, break it and die.". (She wasn't hurt btw)

Another funny story was when I was in my graphics design class. On this one day my professor was teaching us how to make custom brushes on photoshop. She told us to find three pictures that we loved and me and my friend chose famous memes. I had chosen Barry B. Benson and Dan and Rose from the Lorax. I had a vision as soon as I turned Barry into a brush, I painted the most /horrible/ beautiful picture of a forest with a river and little bees flying around. I also cropped out Wesley(also from the Lorax)from his parent's arms and replaced him with Barry. My professor complemented my creativity and said that if she could give grades she'd give me an A.

Oh so remember how i said i was accident prone? welp here comes the wonder of how absolutely stubborn and accident proned i realllllly am.

ok so my cousin and I were out at the ranch fixing one of our barns roof. now i am sure at this moment your going tell me she didn't fall off the barn? well here is the thing... it wasnt totally my entire fault. so we are about 10-15 feet off the ground via the ladder. but the current roofing at the time was large metal sheeting which we were changing out for more adhesive and easier to walk on roofing right? so i ask jake, who is taller and already hooked in to tie me to the beam. please note that we have holes in this barn from a recent windstorm so we think nothing of the holes and he says sure. he goes and hitches me to the roof and i start to work on a section. suddenly i slipped and i didn't panic because i was assuming the big beam at the top of the roof was going to take my weight no problem at all.

well here is the fun part. my loving cousin totally did not check the beam and i didnt think to. so as i hit the end of my roughly ten feet of rope at a skidding halt im expecting to jerk. I jerked all right but the rotten beam my cousin had tied me to snapped with me from the impact. i went flying right off the roof. when i fell the added weight of the beam that followed me down did not help. i landed on an unside down rain barrel with my spine straight down. the force was enough to compress four disks in my back and turn me 180 degrees right into the ground with all my weight and momentum coming down on my thumb. i shattered my entire left hand and it is the reason i don't barrel or jump on my horses anymore cause i can't risk reinjuring my poor spine. meanless to say i was not happy. but here is the thing. when i first got up despite being obviously shocky and shaky i didnt feel any pain in my hand and even managed to hold the hammer for a few moments. i worked for a hour before i started feeling the pain and jake brought me to the er. meanless to say i should of checked the rope and dummy should of checked his beam. XD

Here's something stupid I did at work the other day. xD;

So before I go into this story, it is important to note that every employee has a badge that allows them access to secure areas of the building (employee spaces). To get anywhere other than (on the floor I work) the main reception or elevator areas, you have to swipe your badge. Everything is locked tight otherwise. ALSO, if there are no meetings or events happening on the 5th floor, then our receptionist goes up to work at the 7th floor reception desk.

It's also important to mention that the elevators allowing access to our floors require a person to swipe their badge on the elevator after hours or else they can't even GET up to our floors. Usually, the elevators are "unlocked" and don't require this, but this particular incident takes place after hours. xDD

I work behind one of those secure doors, and for whatever reason, I didn't have my badge lanyard around my neck. I think this was because our IT guy needed to borrow my master key and I have my master key attached to my lanyard, and when he returned it, I just sat it down on my desk. I had loaded up a cart with some marketing materials and stepped outside into the hallway to take the cart down to the storage areas. It wasn't until I got down there and went to swipe my badge that I realized... I didn't HAVE my badge.

So cue me having a small freak out because there was nobody at reception on the 5th floor, it was after hours, none of the doors were opening (obviously), and there just wasn't anyone around. Usually the 5th floor is pretty dead, but I futilely tried banging on the doors. Nothing. The worst part was the fact I couldn't get to the 7th floor to ask for a temporary badge since the floor was locked down. My phone, purse, etc were in my office, my secure storage area was open and unlocked, my PC wasn't locked or turned off for the evening and here I was locked out. :C

I ended up having to wait until the cleaning people came to our floor and saw my distress. ;o; She was nice enough to badge me back into my office.

What makes this situation worse is that I ended up failing to leave not once, but twice. Immediately after this happened I grabbed my things and went to leave and I stepped off of the elevator only to remember that I had some packages to take down to the fedex dropbox that I forgot. Went back to my office, grabbed them, took them to the dropbox. THEN I realized I had forgotten my headphones, so I had to go back AGAIN. Not the best evening. xD

I can't think of one happiest moments but most of them involve being at the barn. I've spent countless summer afternoons were its so hot, but I'm just hanging out with my friends. Sometimes I'll spent the whole day and even if I'm not actually working, I'll help out: mash, grain, etc. Anytime spent there is well spent, it's always a lot of work but so much fun to be there. <3

One of my happiest moments on dA was when me and Tygiir became friends. She had noted me about something. I can't remember what maybe I needed to vent or smth and I ended up giving her my phone number so she could text me. As I had limited data and texting was easier then noting someone on dA. Shortly after that we legit became best friends and started playing (and derping) around on minecraft and we would sit in hour long calls just having the time of our lifes. This was about like 3 and half years ago and we are still friends

It's probably not the happiest, but I've been thinking for like a half hour and nothing's come up until now and this one's just too sweet not to share <3 It sure gave my family a good laugh!

It's a little bittersweet, but this story involves my grandma. She's had Alzheimers for several years now, but this story takes place when she'd only had it for the first few years and it wasn't nearly as bad as it is now. My grandpa had passed about the same time we started noticing her symptoms, but she was still independent enough to live at their home of 30+ years. One day, while none of my family is home, she calls and leaves a message on the answering machne. She's got the cutest, sweetest voice (picture the ideal, caring Hallmark-movie grandmother role and that's basically my grandma). The message she leaves?

"Hi? Yes. Well...okaaaay. I think...I think there's a mouse in my house!"

Just like that. Kind of in a calm-but-anxious voice. Like she's not sure if she's making this up after all or if she actually saw a mouse and caught it. And I mean, we were in stitches laughing so hard when we heard the message replay. And lo and behold when my mom went over to visit later that evening, there was a mouse under a bowl! So they quickly set the little thing free outside the house. We've saved the recording and it's certainly still good for a laugh when we need a pick-me-up after a particularly exhausting day dealing with her situation.

Happiest memory was getting married to my awesome husband, he has for some odd reason supported all my crazy obsessions; like how this group is now my new fix. Our wedding was amazing to say the least, we had it on halloween and no one was allowed to participate if they weren't dressed up for halloween. He was dressed up like Jack Skellington, I was Sally, and my wolf dog was the ring bearer dressed up like Zero. It was an amazing wedding and definitely not a traditional one. I wish I could relive that day a million times over.

My happiest memory was probably actually when my sister got married. She had a few bad relationships but when she finally got engaged to this new guy I had a feeling things would turn out good. Well, the night they got married, I was probably just as happy as she was! The ceremony was small but it was beautiful, and my cousin was the officiant, so that made it even more personal. The bridesmaid dresses had pockets and we all got to wear personalized Converse that had our names embroidered on them. My sister already had a daughter, so when she got married they all poured different colored sand in a glass picture frame to symbolize the individuals becoming one family. They have a picture of all three of them in the frame. I can be pretty protective of my sister, even though I'm way younger and she really doesn't need any help looking after herself. I really like my brother-in-law, though. He's smart and helpful with a lot of things, and he makes really yummy jalapeno poppers when we barbecue. So that's good.  We also found out earlier this year that they're going to have a baby in September!

My happiest moment has to be when I meet my fiance. <3

I was feeling really down so a friend invited me to go with him to a fursuit meet that was about an hour away from where I stayed at. We got there and I felt outta place and kinda wanted to leave but he convinced me to stay. I sat on a bench looking around at everyone as they danced about and bought tickets for the after party, me and my friend decided to get tickets and go as well. Standing in line I felt like someone was staring me down so I turned around to see this tall guy smiling down at me, I turned bright red and tried my hardest to hide. We stood around talking for a while and it felt like I knew him, I could have sworn I had known him from somewhere because we clicked almost instantly. Once we got to the after party we danced together and had dinner together and everything was amazing. I'm a little embarrassed about this next part but right as everyone was leaving I pulled him aside to say my goodbyes and he's not American so when he leaned down to kiss my checks as a goodbye I thought he was trying to kiss me so I propped up on my toes and laid a kiss on him. Needless to say we were both shocked and stood around blushing awkwardly for a few seconds before we parted ways.

Still my happiest moment to this day! Pretty sure that'll change on our wedding day. x3

My happiest moment was probably adopting my cats. <3

I was in sixth grade - i was sick, so my mom drove me up to the local SPCA. We lived about fifteen minutes away, and we often went to visit the animals. I had always, always wanted a pet, most specifically a cat. My dad didn't grow up around animals, and didn't want one. My mom grew up with tons of animals, and was on my side when it came to pets.
Usually the way these trips played out were I'd play with a few cats and sometimes the dogs (their rooms always smelled really bad, so I didn't go in there much), and then with whatever birds or bunnies they had. Just to play, not to adopt. But today was different.
I walk in, and to my right in the first little enclosure were two kittens. A mostly black tortoiseshell kit, and another, a calico. They were sisters, and I fell in love with them right away. I played with them for what seemed like hours. They were so small. I was obsessed with them.
As we were leaving, I stood up, and the calico kit clawed at the glass, and opened her jaws in a huge meow. My heart melted right there, and that's when my mom signed the adoption papers.
I had never imagined getting a cat, never mind two. But it was the best decision ever. Four years later, the torti kit is huge. She's so chubby and loves everybody, I think the calico turned out to be the runt, as she is always grumpy and is much smaller than her sister. I love them both to death though, and i don't know what I'd do without 'em. <3

If you want to adopt a cat, get two. Trust me.

One of my happiest moments was when I started volunteering at the local library. My work days were on Mondays and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm through the summer. They gave me a little badge that said 'Volunteer' and assigned me to a work station in the front area, where you would check out books or return them, and my job was to encourage people to sign their kids up for a reading program. On my first few days I had another volunteer working with me, but as soon as I learned what to do and say she left to go do other things. After five or six days I had gotten three people to join. One of the librarians asked me to start shelving books. I shelved books until my volunteering time was over that summer, but if there were no books then I would have to sit back at my original station.

Another time was more recently at my graphics design class, a local college had begun a program for homeschoolers to earn college credits before college and so I signed up for a couple classes. My mom's friend had a son who rode with us, I would say the car rides were pleasant but I would be lying, but since this is supposed to be a happy story I will forget him ;> On my first day at class I saw someone from my previous class, lyric peotry (aka the devil's class). I also met someone who I instantly clicked with, and we've been friends ever since. The class had a super fun teacher who gave really helpful tips.

So this moment was bittersweet because it ended up turning very sour, very fast, but last October I went to my first pirate festival in Texas with one of my online friends whom I had never actually met in real life before. It was great because I ended up buying a gorgeous black and gold corset that matched my boots, and the necessary leather items to property attach my swords to my costume (I also got a little coin bag with fake doubloons and a glass poison bottle). I got ENDLESS compliments on my boots, so many people came up to me asking where I got them, and I had a great time shopping and hanging out with my friend the first day of the festival.

1. 4 years ago I was kicked in the face by my barrel horse, and the scar on my face has almost disappeared!!
2. Before that ^ accident, I had brain trauma as a 5-year-old. I was outside running and fell on some piece of metal that went in and came back out of the same hole it entered. On its way back out it took a piece of my brain with it.

1. I love horses very much, and they make me feel a sense of inner calm, BUT, at the same time, I am also minorly terrified of horses. If they move too quickly or act up at all it makes me get a little panicky.
2. I got a full-time job for the sole purpose of being able to adopt a dog. Not lying.
3. Even though I'm part of HARPG, I don't enjoy drawing very much. I'm primarily a writer.
4. I've broken my ribs three times.
5. I fully believe that everything in life is an adventure that you can't plan or fully prepare for. You just have to throw your whole self into it and hang on because it's a wild ride and who knows where you'll end up?

3. I love to write, I have a novel on the way and I am helping MidnightAyaDARPG write one to cause why not?
4. I have a 3 year old rescue named Starling (Star). She is a lab/rottie/king shepherd mix. I also own a mustang/qh cross, and 2 mustangs who we got wild after a fire in Colorado. The cross is the son of one of those mustangs
5. I am probably one of the most accident prone humans you will ever meet. I think it takes less time to tell you what I haven't broke than what I have, scratch that it would XD

MidnightAyaDARPG In reply to foxbourne [2017-06-03 14:47:54 +0000 UTC]

1. Despite appearances with my DARPG account, I am NOT a dog person in real life and am actually very allergic to dogs. I've only owned a dog once in my life when I was very little, but other than that I was raised up around many crazy cat ladies (my closest aunt and grandmother both had a passion for helping feral cats).

2. I am a smol, timid creature in real life but cannot keep my mouth shut online. Oops.

3. I absolutely, positively LOVE PIRATES. I have several pirate OCs whom I've had for 10+ years including one who has her own dA account devoted to her - Iavui . She is the absolute bae. I have a cosplay of her and have gone to conventions as her, and am currently cowriting a novel about her with a friend.

4. I have a phobia of driving large vehicles: cars, trucks, etc. I'm perfectly okay on an ATV, but I have had bad experiences learning to drive and even thinking about it these days makes me cry and hyperventilate. Thankfully I live in a downtown area where everything is within walking distance, and I take the bus or metro to work.

5. I spend entirely too much money on art and unimportant things. OTL
