Description
The Witch of Center Park, and the boss lady of the Center Park Templar. Mercedes has spent her life striking a balance between useing her powers, and preventing collateral damage. Her Marks being both Thermobaric, and Radiation, her ability to prevent others from getting hurt has more to do with useing her surroundings to her advantage, and decades of training her body to be just as much of a weapon as her powers.

She walks a line of knowing full well that all it takes for her to demolish any threat entirely is the splitting of an atom. But in an effort to make whats left after worth saving, she always has to weigh her options and wether or not its worth it. This monstrous capability comes with the added caveat that prolonged use of her Radiation Mark can, will, and has given her cancer. Its only the constant medication from Yivren, healing from Kuu, and vigilance on her own part, that have kept her alive to this day.

Despite this, her powers have plenty of helpful uses as well. Deterent against external threats aside, she can use brief bursts of XRay vision to help Kuu mend the wounded, or see through some walls. Even if she isn't slinging explosions and radiation, in a fight she can coordinate her team with quick decisive thinking, and still pull her weight with just her fists. Still holding the record as the only Beast in the Templar able to hold thier own in a sparing contest with Breaker, and win.

She views the Templar as her children she never had, and happily throws herself into her work to guide them into being better people. While she herself cannot claim to have shaped Center Park in any way, she has indirectly made it a better place through her pupils and comrades.
