Description
Consider this the first installment of cybertron safari hour, where I ramble about my interpretations of various robot animals because im bored.Feral Turbofox[top]:
A medium-sized preadator type mechanimal known for it's incredible speed. These canines are the second fastest creature on cybertron, second only to the voltcheetah. They vary widely in appearance and coloration [with a number of different observed habitat-dependent subspecies] as well as temperament.
Some may be combative and aggressive, while some simply prefer to keep to themselves and don't have a desire to attack those around them unless actively provoked. Wild turbofoxes have become an endangered species over time, due to a number of different compounding factors. They are likely now outnumbered by their domestic counterparts, though small population pockets do exist in certain areas.
Notable features:
-dull and subdued coloration
-thin, whip like tails [only seen in feral individuals]
-longer, pointier snout than the typical domestic individual

Autobot [bottom left]:
The autobot-domesticated turbofox was developed on the colony planet of Velocitron, as its residents desired an animal companion that would be able to keep up with their fast paced life styles. The breed are descendants of a subset of feral turbofoxes which were observed to have a more amiable and friendly disposition than their counterparts, who tended to either be aloof or aggressive by nature. Interest in the animals was first piqued when they were observed by wildlife specialists to display pack bonding and group cooperativity, something unseen within the broader population. The thought of being able to keep one of the fastest land animals on cybertron as a pet was very much appealing Β to speed-obsessed Velocitronian society, so domestication efforts were quickly funded by the colony's elites.
Much as they enjoy racing amongst themselves, Velocitronians also enjoy racing their turbofoxes, and there are a number of stadiums, tracks, and agility courses solely dedicated for this purpose. Turbofox breeding can also be quite the lucrative venture for some.
Although they aren't dangerous, domestic turbofoxes require a decent amount of supervision and training so they are not generally considered a good choice for a first time pet owner. They are also extremely fast, as one might have already concluded, so they also might not be the smartest choice of companion for the slower moving cybertronian.
Notable features:
-bright, vibrant coloration
-Round, full tails
-smooth, steam lined armor silhouette
-shorter skull structure with a more rounded muzzle

Decepticon [bottom right]:
While autobots selectively bred the most amiable and friendly turbofoxes they could find to achieve domestication, decepticon breeders went in the opposite direction and embraced the chaotic, aggressive nature of the more combative subset of the feral population, pairing the most vicious of the beasts available together for multiple generations until the perfect guard dog and killing machine had been achieved.
It could be said that the decepticon turbofox might even be more fear inspiring than its already potentially volatile feral counterpart, as they have been intentionally bred to have features that raise their intimidation factor such as skull-like faces and sharp, dangerous spines.
These creatures can deal massive amounts of damage to their master's enemies, but can also be hard to control, given their unpredictable and temperamental nature, so experience is necessary to properly handle one, especially in combat situations, or else one might find their own pet turning against them.
Noteable features:
-dark coloration, black, gray, and purple shades are common
-longer mane spikes [especially towards the back]
-sharp, pointy armor silhouette
