Thanks indeed. In my neighborhood many have put up their 
Christmas lights. For me when I see the lights one, it makes me more 
in the holiday spirit. 

Art wise I have been having fun drawing up more ideas, 
and can't wait for the 2 weeks off as well. ^^

Indeed, I think this time really helps to get away 
from the hardships from the year, a time to relax 
and for great times. ^^

Thanks my friend, I am loving more of art sketching more 
then coloring at the moment, I just been able to click more 
when I take out my sketch papers. ^^

Today it started to snow, I was worried that it would be 
a green Christmas, I hope it stays like this.  

Thanks my friend, Sketching helps a lot in my trial and errors, 
more so when learning a new pose and or a character to draw, 
I can say that I feel more confident in my pencil skills since 2014.

I think that I am slowly getting better at facial looks 
along with action poses, with all the inspiration that I 
used I feel like I am learning more about making a sketch 
more dynamic. ^^

Sorry for the hold up my friend, today was a snow storm 
and I barely made it to work as I got stuck on the snow this 
morning. It was a good day at work but I am a bit exhausted.

Tonight I have been just drawing some art ideas, it always 
helps to put me at ease. ^^

a review, short story is that I am now full time 
with benefits. ^^

I feel like this year I really made some improvements on 
my sketching work in taking my OC's and giving them more 
style in their action poses. ^^ I feel like drawing has now become my

I saw the Last Jedi over the break. I love it, it's one 
of my favorite episodes and filled with more emotion. 
For me it was like watching Revenge of the Sith as it 
had some sad but touching moments.

Thank you. After seeing that movie, it 
has been a spark of inspiration and as well 
in wanting to learn to draw Rey, Kylo Ren and 
Master Luke Skywalker. ^^

This year because I got some new art supplies 
like pastels and such. I want to go back and 
make some traditional style shadings. Pastels 
always gives a nice depth to shading and I think 
somewhat ease to use for lighting and shading. ^^

May I ask, how long does it take to complete a drawing from 
start to finish, like from linework to shading?

I tend to take a great time in the shading. 
That is nice, I really like your chibi art as well
as it makes your characters adorable to look at.

It varies on the picture as it depends on the detail of the character and background. It can take from just a couple of hours to several days.

Ahh, that is the same with me and maybe a bit longer, 
I am slowly getting the hang of drawing with my bamboo 
tablet, but for the most part I scan my drafting work and then 
take time to clean up the lines before coloring.

You're very welcome. I have been enjoying this new software 
that I got when my PC updated a few days ago, it's a bit simple 
but it's 3D paint, sort of the next edition of Paint.Net. ^^

In a way I like making art like this, it may take up 
a bit more time in finishing them but I feel like when it 
comes to coloring that its much easier to follow the sketch 
lines. I sort of like the imperfections as it makes the work 
more my own. ^^
