It did indeed, he finally feels some love XD 

Ahh let me explain Demitherians get element powers from the therians they are melded with but it takes magic to meld them together in the first place. Certain humans can use the magic needed to do that though (and do other things of course) and Millie happens to be one of them. Demitherians can't use the world magic, only the element powers they have.
