Description
Your feathers' blue sheen,
is a bright and special one,
that can be easily seen,
and sets you apart from any other.
I see you sitting on a branch,
And for once, I try to approach you,
Our eyes lock for a moment,
And I can see your unique blue.
I want to ask you,
my beautiful blue jay,
If I came even closer,
Would you flee, or would you stay?
Hm, I ran into quite a bit of trouble with this work, mainly proportions were a bit of a problem in this drawing, I hope they're not distracting. I haven't drawn enough foxes lately.
Anyway, not much can be said about this piece, I'll let the poem do the talking, and the rest is up to you.

Aren't those spruce branches? Pines have longer needles (at least here in Finland). Yay! Holly berries (correct me if I'm wrong)
The fox's eye is very beautiful. And the overall colours are really nice. Seriously, this whole thing is so beautiful.

I personally think the fox's forehead is a little low. Either that or the snout is too long. I should draw more foxes next year. (or this year if I get the time)
