I've long wanted to draw something celebrating the unsung heroes of our ecosystem: soil, and everything that helps keep it healthy. Working in the garden and seeing documentaries with compacted, dried out soil has made me realize just how precious this stuff we walk on is, and just how much we tend to take its incredible abilities for granted.

Made fully in Procreate.

Struggled a bit with selections, no adjustment layers, and no sampling colors from layers, but drawing outside was great.
