Hhh he certainly did! Well, it's in the suit's programming to go towards the sound of children. The Phone Guy said in the game that's how the audio worked, so I ran with that. I find it truly fascinating. I interpreted it as being something that overrides the will of Springtrap, regardless of who's controlling him at the time.
