Code Geass - Geass Fighter II[Episode- R2 16]
This episode was a bit of a challenge. It wasn't for a lack of ideas. Mostly I had a few ideas. It was some weren't right for THIS episode, I wanted to save an idea for later, or the possible punchlines weren't that good.
I felt I had to play off that awesome smack down scene with Kallen.
I had two punchlines for this same scene. I wasn't sure which to make so I just thought, "Let's make both.". See the next 4koma I'll be posting for that joke.
I wanted to imitate a win scene from a Street Fighter II game. Those fans of the classic fighters will notice Kallen in Chun Li's classic victory pose. That was all on purpose.
I know in the comic you only see Kallen hit Suzaku three times, but in the anime she hit his seven times. That's why I call it a "7 Hit Super Combo".

I think there already is an animated gif of Kallen beating down Suzaku. It was out only a few hours after the scene.

No it you follow the StreetFighter game this scene was based on it's the proper placement since he was the target of the combo it hangs over him.
Anyway. If I put it on the other side it would be covering Kallen, and that would be bad.

I thought she was pretty close to Chun Li. I always liked Cammy more, but Chun Li had more easily identified poses and sayings.
