X-Men: Paralysis[X-Men #202]
This is my first completed 4koma for the X-Men comics and using Corel Painter. Making those dialog boxes were a nightmare with this software.
This comic is based upon events from the "X-Men" comics issue #202, from the "Blinded by the Light" story arc. In this scene the X-Men are buried under a house. Emma was earlier hit with a neurotoxin that has paralyzed her. It is slowly starting to wear off.
I just thought it would be funny to see what if while she couldn't feel anything is Scott had gotten himself a feel. Emma catches him, but much to his surprise she likes it and wants him to keep at it.
As far as the drawing. The first two panels were pretty much the same image. Emma is just copied for each panel. I thought that since she's not moving it would make more sense to just copy her down each time.
Emma was pretty easy to draw and she came out looking pretty good.
I think they came out looking pretty good. It's been a LONG time since I last drew Cyclops. He was tough in a way here. With his eyes covers it's really hard to get him to express any emotion. So I kind of stretched reality an used the same tricks with Spider-man, only a bit more subtle. The shape of his visor tends to change slightly, depending on the emotion.
I hope you enjoy and I hope to create more of these. I actually have more drawn.

I liked it and how you drew Cyclops. I don't think I've seen him drawn in that fashion before but I haven't picked up a comic book since ever.

Don't see why. They play off each other really well.
Too many people are just stuck on him with Jean. Jean was a horrible wife. Even while married she couldn't commit to Scott. She still flirted with her feelings for Logan. She eve kissed Logan just because she thought Scott had slept with Emma, which he hadn't.

It's not that I'm hung up on him and Jean. I just really don't like Scott very much, and now that Emma's off to join the Dark X-Men and work with Osborn... Neither of them are characters I like huge amounts, so it could just be that colouring my opinions on the pairing.

If you'd told me a few months ago, 'Osborn will be the new Iron Man and be in charge of everything. Bullseye will be the new Hawkeye, Venom's pretending to be Spiderman and Daken's taking over his dad's job' I'd have called you a nutter. Now I'm really not entirely sure who's on what side, which I'm imagining was the point.
That said, only Osborn could possibly have managed the job of being a bigger dick than Stark in the last few months, so that shouldn't have come as too much of a surprise to me

Well, I've seen images of comics that are coming in following months. One of which that comes out in September that shows Emma on the side of the X-Men as they are facing off against Namor and the Dark Avengers again. It's also listed as the issue where the Marvel heroes finally start to fight back against Osborn.

Ah, I haven't seen those yet. I'll bow to your superior knowledge and better access to these things, and go back to wishing that Studio UDON would do another Taskmaster solo series

You can find them right on Marvel's website. The issue summary for that is Dark Avengers/X-Men: Exodus. It's the book that directly follows Utopia. So, this whole Dark X-Men thing doesn't look to last.
The summary talks about Emma Frost's betrayal comes home to roost, but I think that actually means her betrayal of Cabal.

Well, Emma now has Scott. In fact in the X-Factor comics books Madrox has met the Ruby Summers, the daughter of Cyclops and Emma from the future.

Look up Ruby Summers on Google, though you can find a few Ruby pictures of devArt. She looks really cool. He has a black optic blast and a ruby quartz form, like Emma's diamond form.

Yeah, Ruby hasn't been in the series for long, but from the way she talks it sounds like she will be joining the standard time line. Currently Madrox, Multiple Man, is stuck in the future with the grown up Layla Miller. There they met Ruby and the two of them are trying to get back.
When Ruby and Madrox first meet she talks as if she already knows him. Talks about how this isn't their first meeting for her. That seems to imply that when she was younger is when Ruby first met him. Meaning she might of gone back in time when she was younger.

Sound good for her[as long as the time travel does not mess up her mind is much as my, boy was confusing talking with Arthur[Camelot]] and Scott will finally relationship that somewhat normal[not having someone that dies every 15 seconds or turns evil, or as the master of the universe powerline]
