It seems that a rock and mineral collector found this large, semi-transparent item and then marked it up carefully for cutting and polishing. Look at al the edges and then notice that it even seems there is some refraction going on. Of course, that could be just the human tendency to find patterns that don't exist. It's pretty, anyway!
