I really love the face, but the arm and hand look somewhat stiff and unnatural. You've put a lot of detail into the face and head, which suddenly stops at the shoulder. That in itself isn't bad, but as it continues down into the hand the flat shading and odd angle contrast sharply, making it look unfinished, like you simply stopped. I feel a bit more shading in the shirt area and some shaping of the hand and wrist area, giving it a more natural feel, would greatly improve this already nice drawing.

I love the quality of line where you've just sketched in his arm and hand - it's a bit more flowing than your usual style and works really well. ^^

Powerfull lines of face really captures attention. NICE. I like the wrinkles ^__^ hihih. Simple and good work I think !

it's funny, because for some reason I want to see the rest of him filled in...and yet I'm okay with it as is. the likeness in the face almost makes the lack of him acceptable hehe.
but I'm still getting that nagging "You gotta finish it" tune in my head

it's really a good pencil portrait - until the arm / breast / hand outline begins. if i couver these with my hand the quality rises immensely - in my eyes! it looks like you lost patience until you finished the upper part.... nevertheless a cool portrait of the old fogey ...
