If I made the world over,
Everyone would be nice,
Everyone would be courteous,
Everyone would be respectful of women,
Everyone would be truthful,
Everyone would be,
The way people aren't
Why must they be the way they are,
Why must they lie,
Why must they be concerned with their wealth,
Rather than other people's feelings
Why don't they care about your, mine, others feelings
Why do they make our hearts ache,
Why do they not care if they hurt us,
Why do they hurt us so
Will we ever find the one that is like us on the inside,
Will we ever know ones that speak the truth,
Will we ever meet ones like us
Will we ever know the way it is to feel truly loved and not get hurt,
Because they lie to us
Will we ever get to love the ones that are like us on the inside,
Or just the ones that lie,
The ones that hurt us
Will we ever meet ones to take our heartache away,
The ones that truly love us for us,
Not for just the moment,
But for the long run
Why shall we make friends that don't take us anywhere,
Why may we not find ones like us,
To love us and us them
When will we find them,
Will we ever find them
To love us,
To take this heartache away from me
