Just because text language SUCKS!!! ^^It's really annoying... you can't read a thing they say... *sighs* patheticness...
Well... if you use it I won't like rant about you using it I just don't like it in general... though I'm pretty much used to reading it by now *sighs*
You may use this if you want to... support the writing-ness of english!!!!

Sometimes I wonder ifΒ people who think that "text" is proper englishΒ even realize how stupid they look. Then, I begin to think that they probably don't care. Oh well, that means that people like me who know how to use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling will shine all the more brightly. We will evolve, and they...well, they'll get left behind.

I think text language can be as vocal as the regular English language. It's just another form of slang, and it's technically part of the English language; they're acronyms. Nothing really wrong with them, just colloquial.

I think I can feel and understand my friend more if he says "LOL omg that's so funny" rather than "That's funny, I'm laughing". The second one is plain, isn't it?

Well, I don't write "plz" to make my text look cool, fashionable, or whatever. I write it because it's not necessary that I complete the word "please" (as lazy as that sounds). The world doesn't explode, or my brain doesn't lose its ability to use English. I mean, at the most, it just offends people if I don't--hence this post, I guess.
And still, it remains convenient regardless of the keyboard's presence. Plz is still 3 less letters than please. I could go into how much three letters can matter in terms of time, but we can end this conversation here. I'm glad you've been civil. Thanks for not jumping down my throat with aggressive claims.
