When chasing, a perfectly open view of the storm is desirable. However, sometimes the sky needs some element in the foreground to give it scale. This old abandoned schoolhouse provided just that, and made for a surreal scene in front of this supercell

I Love the sky in my home region in Germany. But we never have this kind of thundercloud. I really want to see them one day with my own eye.
I always wondered how the native americans dealed with this kind of weather.

I have a photo of a similar cloud formation that came over town about a year ago. It was a really nasty looking storm; and clouds were swirling all around me. I later found out that the storm had been tornado warned.
