I thought I'd be able to finish the entire picture,but the damn fur is taking too long to make it look good, and not to mention the wings which I havent started yet!! Will finish this weekend.

Looks awsome so far. have you continued to work on it?
If not you might try a tecneque called "blocking in" were you fill the background with any other color but white. I found it helps alot when choosing color.
