Description
After long time finally I finished with another drawing of my Zodiac Serie. It´s so hard to paint, you would have to consider that it is done only with my loved pencils Faber Castells.About the references: I read the characteristics of the sign, and I found interesting things, like "the hidden thing", "darkness", "erotism", and warm colours. I tried to put all these things into my drawing and I obtained that like result. I hope you like it. Give me your comment with critics or whatever....

It's really an amazing job all of your zodiac series. Indeed, Scorpios have those caracteristics... but if you don't take my "critic" too hard, the really scorpion have the colour of a lobster...

you are right, but here is the reason: in all my zodiac serie I never used pure colours like the strong red of the original scorpion. For that reason I had to use a smooth tone, and seems a lobster, also I noticied it when I painted it. Another possible solution for that problem could be a black scorpion.

I see. You do as you think its best. I find it quite hard to paint strong colours, when I give it a go on pencil painting. So, let it look like a lobster... although it makes me laugh a bit. My zodiac is Scorpio, that is why I think it's funny... Suddenly, I've a lobster colour scorpion.

I am Scorpio too. And it´s impossible that I change the colours now cause the original drawing is framed, fitted (I don´t know the exactly word, I say it in Spanish: el dibujo original ya está encuadrado y detrás de un vidrio) LOL.

Ah, yes, in english is framed. Put it away in a frame with a glass on. In portuguese we say : emoldurado.
