Este tipo d dibujos, con esos tonos y esas sombras proyectadas me encantan. Excelente trabajo con el color.

Es el estilo que mas me gusta hacer, aunque mucho mas dificil que el tipo manga. Estoy trabajndo con los signos, es decir, sigo, no voy a terminar nunca, recien voy por el 4to...... snif.

Beautiful piece, man! Like the concept, too! The art itself is as attractive as the girl in the picture, too. Nice use of shading and light. Simply put, it's a fine example of great pencil art!

Tight pencil work. I have a couple of problems with it though. I don't like how her left hand (and I guess the drapery/blanket) takes a bite out of her ankle, and whats with that big toe? Other than that, a good slick illustration.

I humbly think that you're being a bit fussy with Elengwat's work. I don't believe those kind of criticisms actually help the painter. Besides, shades, hands and feet are the most difficult things to paint. I know by first hand experience.

My sincere apologies. I was not intending to offend but rather to help. I am fussy. I am Very fussy. I don't think I would count myself much of an artist if I wasn't. Also I only comment on work I find interesting. Once again, if I have offended either you or Elengwat I apologise.

Ok! Now that I saw your page, I understand. You are right, we have to be fussy sometimes. I'm quite careless and anxious with my stuff, and that's the reason my drawings have zillion defects!
The question is settled now. By the way, your gallery is 'grossa', as we say here in Argentina.

Thankk for your comment. The left hand touches her ankle and the shade that it has in the ankle exactly is produced by the right arm. This hand is taking hold the blanket, What is the problem with that? and the big toe I do not believe that it is very great, if you talked about that.

Perhaps the problem ( for me, of course) has more to do with the way it is seen on the computer and would look different "in person". I understand what it is Suppose to look like, the problem is in how it appears. I find it distracting. I realize it is suppose to be a graphic piece and the modeling, the values, are purposely simplified. But for me, compositionally, it looks awkward there. The big toe looks like a bubble on the end of her foot. Again it may look different in real life. Other than those things I think it is a good piece! Keep up the good work!

this one is by far my fav in your gallery - i love how her belly tucks in, and the church references that make her innocent but damn so deffinately looks not.. love the colors they fit in perfect, the pose is awesome and the cloth is great.. love the soft tones of her skin, great anatomy

The idea to do to Virgo of this form were for leaving the common thing, my style always is average dark.
More, the key that hangs of her neck locks up a big concept....

EstΓ‘ muy bonito el dibujo! Me gusta mucho la expresiΓ³n de Virgo, y el hecho de que ocupes colores negros, en vez de blanco, tambiΓ©n le da su buen toque!
Este estilo de dibujo me recuerda a los modelos de un japones (chino, koreano, o algo, no tengo idea), que dibuja muchas mujeres con mucho fetichismo, y too eso.
En cuanto recuerde el nombre, te lo dire, por si no lo conoces, para que veas, compares, y todas esas cosas. n_n

Thanks for making such a great picture. It's amazing to see what can be done with colored pencils, since I prefer pencil over any other medium. I hope that my skill can rise to your level some day...I guess that means I should get to practicing right away!

True. An artist can have the best pencils in the world, but the piece can still look shoddy if he or she doesn't know how to properly use them. I'll try to keep that in mind with my future works.
