Part of my series 150 watchers, 150 pokémon, for @alex998
My intention was to give Alex every paw-lovers dream: to be pressed by the most powerful paws in the world. Unfortunately, "stomp" is not one of the moves Hitmonlee can learn, all its moves are kicking actions!
The first challenge was, of course, showing Alex being pressed into the "glass" of the camera. It proved surprisingly easy to do it with the fur as opposed to the clothes, but I think I got it in the end. Hitmonlee's one off-target toe was really a matter of "I couldn't get it to look right otherwise", but I think the shading "saves" it. Last minute decision here was to give Hitmonlee a bit of a cheekbone, and to make the arm shadow fall on the waist. And of course, I wanted to make sure Alex wasn't hurt by all of this, so Hitmonlee's actual paw pad had to be soft.
Once again, anybody wants any of the pokémon sketches colored, modified to fit a different sona, or touched up, let me know and I'll do it for cheap!
