Got distracted musing about characters who don't even have a proper story - dats' me!Said "story" focusing on English boogeyman Spring-heeled Jack and his young daughter, Ortensia, trying to keep his image of scary roof hopper in tact as the 20th century looms over them.
I have a thing for big scary monster dads who claim to be heartless but clearly adore their demon spawn, as well as demon spawn who wanna make their big scary monster dads proud. Also the Spring-heeled Jack legend is fascinating to me. I'd love to explore my take on him more, with Jack coming to terms with some of his earlier crimes and wondering what's best for his daughter.
