My first illustrated OC! It took about a week to complete.

Backstory: As an Eevee, Nightshade had issues getting sleep during the night, as he (she at the time) was basically nocturnal. He loved to sneak out of the house at night to examine the nearby plants. He would often look up at the starry sky and sketch the patterns of the stars, then he would try to connect the stars to make shapes that looked like plants. His family owned a large berry garden, which he tended to every day. He lived a fairly normal life, up until he became a teenager. He became trans and shared the news with his friends and family. Many of his friends left him, and even his parents stopped believing in him at that time. He became very depressed and lonely because of this. About a month later, when he snuck out at midnight, he found a mossy rock. He really wanted to become a Leafeon, so he ran right up to the rock and touched it with his paw. That’s when he evolved into a Leafeon-Umbreon fusion. At first, he thought that there must’ve been a problem with the rock, as he expected to become a regular Leafeon, not a Leafeon-Umbreon fusion. It turns out that touching the mossy rock any time between 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM as an Eevee, would cause you to evolve into a Leafeon-Umbreon fusion. He panicked. “What will my family and remaining friends think about my new appearance,” he asked himself. When his parents found out about what happened, they didn’t believe in him any more or less than they already did. His remaining friends, however, were amazed and congratulated him. Over time, he became more serious and got over the depression caused by his parent’s lack of belief in him and his lost friends. He is now an activist for LGBTIQA+ rights and he won’t stop until society’s view is changed or until he dies.
