The Khaian system is a star system located somewhere in the Perseus Arm. Kha is a G-type main sequence star orbited by eight planets (five terrestrials and three gas giants) with its own asteroid belt system in the middle. There is only one habitable planet in the system, called Mez by its own inhabitants, althought this may change in the far future as the races inhabiting the Mez have started their own space programs.
