Good picture, I like how the cat's fur fades into the light and of course the eye is done beautifully too - the white inside is nicely balanced with the rest. ^^

Ooh, gorgeous shot. The manip is amazing. The deep blue of the eyes work really well. I also like the almost white that is reflected on the chin. Nice job.

thanks once again! yes the shot taken by the cats owner is lovley which is why i used it. I thought removing all background to the image and replacing with white worked well too

This is a truly fantastic image. But Jason, the typography on the image does not match the top notch imagery above it. I'm sorry but i think the text is awful. It detracts my eye from the image you want people to focus on.
Apart from that it's super good!

well the font is the least of my worries! that can be changed quite easilly. Its not like im offering it for a print or anything

Well i think it is. It spoils it, due to it's size and intruisiveness (sp?) I think something more subdued and subtle. It's constructive criticism. It'll help your image.

To be honest. The font i usually stick to is 'tahoma' and 'arial' in in the case of yours, it's change the border to white, well first of all, i'd all a small off black-grey colour around the cat image, then a large white border and locate the text centrally, you could possibly space out the letters like this "B E A U T I F U L B L U E" and make it at least half the size it is just now. I really don't think a 'busy complex font' is needed here, as i said, subtle, thats the key.
Something like that anyway.

hehe thanks for the suggestion. I usually go for that spaced out effect quite a bit actually but for some reason i didnt for this. lol. I may make ammendments when i have some more time! must continue with work work now! thanks for advice!
