Description
These are 2 of my CUSTOM Funko Pop! games figures, with their matching custom boxes. These are numbered 112 and 113 to follow on from Nightmare Freddy 111. They use the Nightmar Freddy Funko pop as a base figure and are painted by myself. Nightmare Fredbear has a bloodied mouth and fists because when I made him I thought it would look cool.He's also metallic gold, to match the already made Funko Golden Freddy. Plus - Nightmare Fredbear was one of my first customs, inspired by the fact I was bought a duplicate Nightmare Freddy for Christmas one year. At the time of painting him, I only had gold paint, rather than yellow.
More customs will be uploaded soon, once I've finished printing and making all the boxes!
For those interested;
Each of these boxes take a long time to make, starting with creating the character graphic in photoshop and then designing the box, deciding what images to use, etc. I then print the box designs onto A4 photo paper, and cut it out with a craft knife and a ruler. This results in more accurate straight lines but takes about 2-3 times as long as doing it with scissors would!
I then have to stick the box together with double-sided tape, and it goes together in 3 parts: The front and right side (where the window is), the left side, and the back. I stick the side and back to either side of the front piece, and then attach the window (which is half of a disassembled pop-protector) before closing up the last pieces to finish the box.
Finally, I place in the pop itself, along with the matching insert from the original box, and in some cases (not with these figures) I add in the backdrop.
Overall, making each of these customs takes about 10-12 hours, not including the drying time in between painting.
