I have a theory. Basically, you know how the audio devices alter your perception of the Twisteds so you see them as monsters or whatever? I believe they'd look different from each person's point of view. The Twisteds' poster and teaser appearances are what Charlie (and by extension us, as Charlie is the main character) sees them aa. This is a possible look Twisted Freddy would have through somebody else's eyes.
