Happy 2006, everyone!
Just working on some run cycles that my character layout artists and animators will use as they set up the scenes in MTK!
This run cycle is for the scene where Tabby is chasing the guys with--gasp!--hair accessories! Nooooo...

I'm glad to hear you got a laugh out of it and its nice to see fan interaction getting taken to the next level. I wasn't expecting my page to be viewed or Death by Roadkill but then again, what am I suppose to expect? its all part of the studio's charm.

Sweeeheeheeheeet. At first I was distracted by those motorised punching attack arms(Reminded me of some sort of wind-up 'Gobot' or something), but that is extra cool. Wish my run cycles didn't suck.

Wee look at 'im go! I guess he's running from some kind of farmer with an axe. Its such a clean animation, was it produced in flash? Im green with envy. I guess it helps to be on a proffessional animation team to produce something as simple and yet great like this.

Thanks Malice! Actually, he's running from a kitten with bows. But she's evil, so that makes it ok.
Yes, the animation was done in Flash 2004...it took me about 4 hours to do, using the storyboard as reference for his pose.
I used to animate for Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi--those guys are Flash masters! I learned a bit of Flash before I started working with them, but in the end, they taught me nearly everything I know!

An evil kitty with a bow!? Well he certainly is in a pickle then isnt he? I havent seen alot of the Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi cartoon but i do love their actual band. I have always wondered if when people who work in the animation industy ever visit and get impressed by what they see on this website? Im trying to pursue my dream and love for drawing/animation and deviantart has helped me to improve since i started here. Well, many thanks for replying and keep up the fantastic work!
