Description
Evangelion Unit-EX is an Eva unit developed separately from the others of its kind in order to foil attacks from angels in other parts of the world. In a similar manner to Eva Unit-01, Unit-EX is prone to go berserk, due to the dubious circumstances of its contact experiment. Notable engagements it participated in were the defence of Ottawa from the angel Cherubim, where Unit-EX first went berserk, and the defence of retreating NERV staff as SEELE sought to begin instrumentality.
