Das Wasser ist eine Ebene in Cinema4D mit einem 100% reflektierenden Material und etwas Bump, um die Wellen zu simulieren. Sollte grundsätzlich auch so in Poser möglich sein, einzig in C4D ist die Ebene "unendlich" und Hintergrund und Ebene bekommen in C4D ein sogenanntes "Compositing"-flag gesetzt, damit sie nicht in der Distanz durch fehlendes Licht abgedunkelt werden und zusammen passen.
Die Unschärfe wird in C4D als eigener Graustufen Layer berechnet, d.h. ich gebe die Schärfenverteilung direkt vor. C4D hat aber Probleme mit alpha-mapped Texturen und Unschärfe, d.h. die Blätter vom Baum würden nicht korrekt berechnet werden (also alles wo nicht modelliert wurde, sondern nur über die Transparenzen etwas "weggestanzt" wird, also auch sehr oft bei Haaren). Somit lasse ich noch Extraebenen berechnen, wo z.B. nur die Pflanzen drauf sind. Diese Ebenen schnappe ich mir nun in Photoshop und erarbeite daraus eine korrigierte Schärfentiefe, d.h. das ist dann ein Graustufenbild, in dem z.B. auch die Haare und Blätter korrekt wiedergegeben werden. Wenn das alles fertig ist, dann kann ich dieses Graustufenbild als Input für den Lens-Blur-Filter in Photoshop benutzen und kann mir eine wunderschöne Tiefenunschärfe erzeugen.
Der Vorteil im Postwork besteht auch darin, dass ich immer das Original-Bild habe und die Stärke der Unschärfe auch im Nachhinein noch stärker oder schwächer wählen kann, ohne das Bild nochmal komplett neu berechnen zu müssen.

Thanks, the sky background is one of fantastic BG packages, scaled and positioned. It just became a render-tag for background-composition and added a reflective water-pane. All plants and stones are poserprops added to the scene in C4D.

No, V10 and V9 have the same render engine... always depends on the settings...
If you want to print in postersize then this is a very nice resolution, gives very nice print results...
